Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

The whole historical thread of the past 20 years has led us to this place is like reliving a nightmare. IMO MR should be considered for sainthood for somehow managing to develop the playing side of the club from being a total systemic failure. I'm no fan of CCC, but looking at CCC's input...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

My guess is that in the discussions between MA & CCC would focus on the investment into the area around the stadium to create new businesses and jobs. That's the benefit to CCC with greater revenues generated for the area

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

None of us know the details of the pre-pack agreement, if it is realised by MA. However, if MA has offered £35m for selective assets within ACL, which i presume is the arena, but would it include the Premiership share?? I'm doubting it would, as think that asset sat within Wasps. My reasoning...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

If they do a fire sale and under value the players, then the buying club could offer an enhanced salary playing for a club that's not distressed.....then what player would turn that down? That sounds just like the scenario with Hyam??

I agree that SISU will be very awkward to do any deal with. However, I think the EFL will not allow the club to be moved again, which eliminates that tactic for SISU. The only options then left for SISU is to sell any player they can to recoup money, then liquidate or sell what's left of the club.

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

I'd imagine that SISU's strategy would be to sell a few CCFC players in January to raise the amount of money they paid for the stadium, then extract that from the club to offset that figure against the debt on the club. Leaving SISU owning the stadium and CCFC paying ever increasing rent. I...

    Liverpool for sale

I would laugh if SISU bought Liverpool [not that it would ever happen].........those fans would soon find something substantial to moan about.

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

My understanding is that a"pre-pack" deal allows someone to buy assets from a company. Then having sold off any asset worth anything the original business is liquidated. For the seller of the business that reduces the time an administrator is running the business. Which administrators cost of...

I just hope we score an early goal, which will allow us to counter attack for the rest of the game. It's teams that "park the bus" in front of their goal that cause us problems

I would not be surprised to see a bid for Sheaf during the January transfer window.

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

The Daily Mail article stating that Mike Ashley was looking to pick up CCFC on the cheap was interesting. Either it was designed to wind up Joy Seppela or prepare the ground for an initial low bid. I'm not sure it was a great move.

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

SISU are in a fix. The reported figures that will be part of an investment portfolio in CCFC is higher than I feel can be realised. This is partly due to the very high rate of interest that SISU charge. As others have constantly stated on here the actual amount SISU has externally invested into...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

It's fairly irrelevant what "investment" has been made into any business, IF the owner decides to sell. The market will determine the value. Unfortunately, if SISU value CCFC/Otium, etc at £60M they will not find a buyer. £30M seems far more realistic.

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

If they sell for less than the listed amount on their investor accounts, then they've got a lot of explaining to do. There is no way that they'll realise that sum. Hence, they're stuck & we might be stuck with them for a bit longer. Lets hope their other investments are making massive profits...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

I worry that SISU may react with an asset stripping strategy of selling every sellable player in January to recoup as much money as possible. That could be circa £20m and then look to sell the club, as we get relegated.

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

That reads as admin. I'm not surprised, as why would anyone want to buy it with the debt attached? A stadium with no debt attached = more attractive.....even when it needs a bit of maintenance and aa lot of horrible wasps signs needing removal

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Have the NEC [Blackstone] factored in the obvious possibility that they'll be left with a stadium and no resident club. SISU have a consistent track record of relocating CCFC. It seems a strange decision to buy the CBS with SISU owning CCFC

    Ben Wilson

Wilson's distribution is terrible. He doesn't come for any crosses and his positioning at time is suspect. It's time for Moore to be given another chance....hopefully he's had time to reset.
