    Mean while back in court

Correct. When, one day, the dust settles on this sorry period of our club it will be seen as an aberrant episode where incompetence and malevolence conspired to fuck over fans and sporting values. Nobody is blameless but a significant part of the blame must rest with the Football League who...

    Mean while back in court

    1) dogma prevails over reason 2) subjectivity over objectivity 3) stupidity over the Law One or combo of the above...

Is promotion still on for next season

Correct The FL should never have awarded Sisu the Golden Share. That has been the real problem; systemic failure from weak regulatory body.

Coventry City staring into Football Abyss

Why is it alarming? We were on a roll by November and gates picked up. That's what happens. We had some rotten luck with injuries and couldn't respond. Gates have fallen dramatically as cheap loans failed to inspire. At certain times you twist to accumulate, Sisu chose to stick, with predictable...

Victim of a Plague of Ghosts?

Today's newspapers are filled with calls for tax reform. Maybe this could lead to a revision of who owns football clubs and why.....?

Victim of a Plague of Ghosts?

Mostly this. The real weakness at Ccfc is that it is poorly run. Mowbray has done his best (bad luck with injuries) but he's no Messiah. The O'Brien situation proves it. His authority was also undermined by that 'superstar' with the hairband, the Cole saga and Toxicity of Sisu who should fuck...

    Conspiracy Question

I think we'll find out soon enough.

    Conspiracy Question

His opinion has always been laughable, best to ignore. What I wonder, with a footballing man like Mowbray at the helm, how his integrity is going to fit in with Sisu spin and bullshit?

    Coventry Evening Telegraph.

Correct. The problem now - short term and future - how can Sisu pretend they want the best for the club when their record demonstrates the opposite? Nobody (but a few nut cases) thinks that losing the Ricoh isnt a self inflicted wound........but the majority of fans are still dreaming of...

    Conspiracy Question

Yep, and the other narrative consistently pointed out by those intellectuals is that they are so intelligent.

    Protesting fans against owners

Yes, exactly. Which was why it was important to focus on the FL and their own flaunted guidelines in respect of move to Northants, golden share, etc. We have been the victims of this systemic corruption but ultimately the whole sport suffers.

    Conspiracy Question

It is obvious that the sisu model is to mark time. They have no ambition. Mowbray has had the wool pulled over his eyes and been unlucky. If by some miracle he manages to get us promoted fans will think him Messiah but the owners won't thank him.

    Conspiracy Question

If he feels as if his hands are tied I think Mowbray has enough integrity to resign.

    Protesting fans against owners

For a club to be competitive you have to genuinely aim for success. When a club is obviously being mismanaged (by an off shore hedge fund for example perhaps for pecuniary motives) then all sporting principles are lost.
  15. D

    Protesting fans against owners

This IS a Ccfc issue as the principles that underpin ownership are enshrined within the FL regs. These were waived and we ended up in Northants. Unless the governing body is rigidly consistent there will plenty more 'Charltons', 'Blackpools' and so on. Fair play to them and we should unite in...

    Damn those fucking hedge funds

He's stubborn, an idealist, a rigid adherent of the old school but does this make him stupid?
