I'm no Thorn fan, and statistics say he was the worst, however the football witnessed under Butcher, Howe, Neal, Coleman to name a few was far worse, if slightly better results wise

Neville was a exceptional player, you don't stay at United as long as he did and gain as many England caps as he did by accident, hugely underrated by many. But you make a good point about his MFN. Don't think he would be interested , but worth a shot imo

I appreciate Grendel continually pointing out Thorns record, it was appalling the win ratio being the worst ever in the history of the club, it was impossible for Thorn to survive any longer, we have finally put him out of his misery.

IMO neither should be considered for the managers position, I can't think of anything of note, that either have in their armoury to suggest they are cut out for management.
