Nothing to keep us there anymore

Is it? The CCC's whole strategy for over half a decade has been to disrupt SISU as much as possible - regardless of how it affects the club. So, if we're speculating who's to say CCC didn't find out weeks before and sat on it until the time was right to drop such a bomb? What better way to...

Nothing to keep us there anymore

Head of Commercial. I find it difficult to believe the CCC didn't know I think it's likely Gilbert find out through them.

Nothing to keep us there anymore

Well SISU didn't anticipate Wasps throwing the club out of the stadium did they? You're distorting the timeline - St. Andrews wasn't even under consideration then. I reiterate why would SISU consult Boddy in their legal proceedings when it didn't have anything to do with him at the time of them...

Nothing to keep us there anymore

To be fair we don't know. I've had a number of conversations with Tynan Scope about this and he claims Wasps definitely didn't know beforehand. We can only speculate how true that is.

Nothing to keep us there anymore

It wouldn't surprise me if he didn't. Realistically at the time it was nothing to do with the day to day runnings at CCFC so why would he have been informed?

    Sam McCallum upfront fee revealed

Very few transfer fees are paid up front. Using Nicholas Pepe's transfer to Arsenal as an example - face value is £72 million yet the up front was believed to be £20 million. Most clubs cannot afford to have such large chunks paid out in one go hence why they'll often pay in installments or...

    Trust Statement

They're still saying that SISU needs to drop the legals though - despite them promising to pursue no further legal action. Hardly much progress.

Nothing to keep us there anymore

What does the fact that you work in a factory have to do with anything? It's not about agreeing with me it's about what you should be seeing with your own eyes. A council has an obligation to act in the best interests of a city and its own citizens. Instead of doing their duty CCC have thrown...

Nothing to keep us there anymore

You've just dodged my question that argues why the council are just as complicit as SISU in this mess by suggesting that you physically can't offer an opinion on a matter that does in fact have a fairly obvious answer to it. So, either you have zero common sense or have an agenda - which is it?

Match Thread Rochdale vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 22nd Feb

I think his age is the only reason to why he's been so overlooked. Fair play to the bloke though. I would've happily taken him on if Godden hadn't been an option.

Nothing to keep us there anymore

It doesn't need answering by you because it's there in stone for all to see. I think it says a lot about your agenda when you're dodging such a question.

Match Thread Rochdale vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 22nd Feb

Considering he's scored over 100 goals in the past 5 and a half-ish seasons it baffles me how Rochdale have managed to keep hold of him.

Nothing to keep us there anymore

Why paint the club and SISU with the same brush though? They seemed to willingly sacrifice the club quite easily without a second thought if it meant getting rid of SISU. Does that not explicitly show that egos in the council's camp got ahead of what's in the best interests of the city?

Nothing to keep us there anymore

No we don't know everything we probably never will do. But what we do know is that whilst SISU have made horrendous and unnecessary mistakes in the past, the council are still to this day making both them and more importantly us, by association, pay the price. Do you think that's right?

No they weren't but what's your point?

Knowing what MacAnthony is like he wouldn't of acted in good faith at all. He throws his toys out the pram on a regular basis - you only have to take a glance at his Twitter feed to come to that conclusion. The only thing it shows is that our council is full to the brim with egos and are vindictive.

    McCallum Sky Sports Special

Has anyone noticed that CT have attempted to lace hints of animosity within some of their articles recently - almost like they're trying to subtly push negative connotations into some stories to spread division. E.g. McCallum 'revelation' as posted above - basically inferring that the club got a...

Match Thread Rochdale vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 22nd Feb

Judging from Robins' own comments I think it's unlikely JJ will start this season as MR won't want to rush him into first team action without being 100% ready. It's probably more likely that he'll be coming off the bench making the odd appearance here or there to either see the game out or try...
