...increase in migrants across the Channel.

The issue of space and dividing a finite resource into ALL our needs is problematic, I do not deny. However, there are solutions which we have not embraced such as empty buildings and composite construction based on the principles pioneered by Walter Segal amongst others. Neoliberalism...

    Ignorant moron...

Quite right. Trouble is if you voted leave you are going to feel cheated because that was a binary choice. Now, some of us, not Neil Warnock evidently, may have an inkling what Brexit means and will result in; lower living standards, more years of Tory misrule, more austerity, less educational...

...increase in migrants across the Channel.

Overcrowded? There’s more space in this country given to golf courses than housing. Every major British institution is underfunded and housing follows the same pattern. Just another myth to foment xenophobia, I’m afraid.

MP calling for Government intervention in Ricoh row.

This Tory govt? They have sunk to hitherto unknown levels of incompetence over Brexit and, as everyone knows, that’s a piece of piss compared to the complexities surrounding the Ricoh, Sisu and Ccfc.

    Corners

The best taker of corners we had was Gary McAllister but that was largely because he could aim them at Dublin who also knew what to do.

    Chelsea interest in Callum Wilson

Everything is pointing to a Liverpool move for Callum Wilson. If the interest is there he’d be mad not to go and particularly as he knows it will benefit us.

    Coventry's best ever manager?

Noel Cantwell, for keeping a shite team up and then achieving our highest ever league position...ever. No contest really.

Who is going to give us a break or least some answers

Spot on. This thread should end right there....but it won’t. The two resident weasels will bite their own tails until the second coming.

Who is going to give us a break or least some answers

Same idiots engrandising their ‘super fan’ status while the club crashes and burns. Like last time the FL should prevent this from happening, they have a moral obligation to insist that it does not.

Marvin Sordel and his thoughts on depression

"We need more people talking about it to take the stigma away." Correct. Fifty years ago homosexuality was tabu and this caused misery for millions. Same with mental health today. The sinister development is the over medicalisation of something which should be regarded as part and parcel of...

Marvin Sordel and his thoughts on depression

Another thing. Drink, cocaine and gambling are people self medicating due to some unresolved issue, an anxiety that can become extremely debilitating if it isn’t resolved. The intervention of psychological help early on wards off a problem that very quickly becomes physiological. How long would...

Marvin Sordel and his thoughts on depression

What Sordell is identifying is a tabu. Society, and particularly men have been inculcated to ‘man up’ and deny their feelings. If a club proactively employs a full-time counsellor then immediately that ruinous culture is kicked into touch. Counsellors are trained to be confidential. Any...

    Fisher

Sisu and Fisher are toxic. They will forever be associated with the lowest of the low (by their friends ye shall know them) and the antithesis of what binds society and community; divisiveness, cynicism and dishonesty. They were booed yesterday and deservedly.

    Our finest point in history

If league form is your benchmark, definitely Noel Cantwell’s team around 1970. One year we won ten on the road and had a great work ethic and discipline. A centre-back called Roy Barry was immense in that team.
