    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

You've touched on an interesting point. If players start catching the virus then fixtures will obviously have to be cancelled. Then what?

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

It's not current medical advise that you're more likely to catch coronavirus down your local than at a stadium containing thousands. That's very much your lack of common sense I'm afraid.

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

It's not just what you touch though - this IMO is where much of the misinformation lies. Covid-19 is actually most likely spread through person to person contact where viral particles are spread through coughing, sneezing etc. The CDC also believes that whilst some coronaviruses can live on...

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

Come on guys use a bit of common sense. Think about the amount of people you're going to come into contact with via toilets, hospitality, bars, and simply walking through the stadium itself.

Not really because the amount of people that you could into close contact with at football stadiums is far higher?

    Jordan Willis

Unless in the event of injury, illness, suspension, obviously he wouldn't get into our Starting XI. We've got the best goals conceded record in the league so IMO our three CB's especially, are at this point undroppable.

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Shrewsbury Town Match Thread - Saturday 14th Mar

Given Lincoln's run since they lost both Akinde and Walker, anything less than a win would be pretty disappointing IMO.

    Game In Hand?

I'm not too worried about Lincoln. They were dreadful when we played them at St. Andrews and since then they've lost Walker and Akinde so I doubt they'll pose too much of a threat against us.

    Chill

I don't agree people are necessarily being pessimistic, I think there's just more a sense of realism amongst the fanbase as so much can happen in 10 games. I think every fan would be lying to themselves if they claimed they weren't excited but you see it season after season where a high flying...

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Shrewsbury Town Match Thread - Saturday 14th Mar

Shrewsbury will be no walkover. It's likely they would have comfortably beaten Oxford last week if it wasn't for Vela receiving his marching orders in the first half so we shouldn't underestimate them. They are the second lowest scorers in the league with 31 goals. Only Bolton are below them...

    Indemnity question

Not sure I agree with the name calling but I have to admit I struggle to see the logic behind posters openly admitting they attend Wasps fixtures (regardless of how infrequent it is) as you're clearly just going to attract hate. Each to their own but I just can't imagine how any fan could...

    Chill

Loving the positivity but so much can happen in 10 games. The team just need to continue taking it one game at a time and ensure they don’t get ahead of themselves. I trust Robins to keep a lid on things though. Shrewsbury will be seriously tough. They’re no walkover and have beaten a fair few...

    O'Hare or Walsh

Will we? The best players in L1 can command pretty substantial fees which we just simply couldn’t afford. Look at some of the reported fees paid for the so called ‘best players’ in L1 last season: Jamal Lowe: Portsmouth - Wigan £3M, Matthew Clarke: Portsmouth - Wigan £3M, Keiffer Moore: Barnsley...

That Ipswich team has scored a combined 18 goals between them all season. Please city don’t throw this one away.

Yeah like I said above that would be a pretty impressive turnaround from what can probably be labelled as near-on relegation form. It's just more than likely not going to happen given the amount of time left and certain teams (E.g. Fleetwood) hitting serious form. Oh is it Garbutt that takes...

Match Thread Ipswich v Coventry Match Thread

The issue is, they'd have to turn around their near-on relegation form into automatic place form pretty much now. That's a huge ask for a team that is completely shot of confidence, a manager that doesn't seem to know who his best side is, and a lengthy injury list. Equally, to rub salt into...

Match Thread Ipswich v Coventry Match Thread

Interesting thoughts. It just goes to show how quick a club environment can become toxic really if things aren't going the right way. I can understand the thought process behind Evans giving Lambert a long term contract, but you just can't do it these days as I personally think it causes a...
