Indeed. My argument isn't you have to have loans, my argument is you shouldn't totally dismiss it as a means of recruitment, it has it's place.

We Got Esbrand from Man City and didn't use him every week. Think a lot depends on the player, what the parent club have planned for him and how the loan is,structured so appreciate its not straight forward but it's not impossible either.

Am I misremembering this, but the year we got to the play offs we were getting an incredible amount of results go our way over a period of weeks. I'm fairly sure a lot of those results were our rivals losing to teams who were supposedly 'on the beach'.

If you Google historical league tables there's lots of sites do them. Just put the dates you're after in, you may need to play around with the dates a bit to get the exa t number of games played you're after
