I think there’s a legitimate question over whether he can take a team to the next level single-handed (kind of why I started the thread) but he is an extraordinarily consistent player.

I don’t really see the urgency to sell him unless he’s agitating to leave - we wouldn’t get a great price for him at the moment and whoever we replaced him with would also have to be content with being a backup. Our striker options are perfectly adequate for a system with only one centre...
