[POLL] Do you start Grimes tonight?

Grimes in for Allen tonight, Allen back in vs Ipswich. Have you noticed how no one mentions Eccles any more? 🤔

Less than a month ago we needed pens to get past a poor Sheffield Wednesday side. Now all of a sudden you think we can take on the top team in the championship without one of the best players in the division? We've had a good recent run against teams who are struggling for form and/or...

    Where does Norman fit?

He got game time playing as a single striker, trying to do everything on his own, where he struggled, just like Simms did. Simms has thrived playing as a part of a front two, who's to say Bassette wouldn't thrive as well given a run alongside Wright or Simms or BTA.

    Transfer Rumour January transfer window

Me neither to be honest, he would only offer more strength in depth, which isn't a bad thing, but hardly the final piece of the puzzle.

    Transfer Rumour January transfer window

In 6 months time we could well of missed out on the playoffs. I agree that £3million is way OTT, but maybe Doug is taking a gamble on pushing for the top 6.

Grimes definitely starts for me, and I'd be considering going 1 up front for the first half and denying Leeds any space in midfield. If we can keep the game tight for an hour or so we could pinch a goal late on. If we try and be too expansive they will pick us off like they did against Cardiff.

    And with that Simms chance....

It makes you wonder why he was so shit under MR this season. And let's not beat around the bush here, he was lazy as fuck for most of the season, now it looks like FL has put a rocket up his arse. Maybe losing his place to Bassette was the wake up call he needed.

    Rudoni …?

Agreed, but there's always the upcoming Gyokeres transfer windfall, plus the probable sale of Sheaf which is likely to happen at the end of this season. Offloading Collins, Dasilva and Binks will also free up wages that can be used to attract out of contract players. Not to mention the...

    Rudoni …?

We've outgrown them now. Hence their omissions from the starting line up. They can offer cover from the bench this season bit I'd be suprised if they are here next season. Frank will want better.

    Rudoni …?

Lol, typo, yes weak. Collins, Links and Dasilva wouldn't get in the Leeds, Burnley or Shef Utd match day squad, that's the level we need to aspire to. Although we need a squad with depth, those 3 aren't good enough to get to the playoffs, just look at our results recently once they were...

    Rudoni …?

Not playing football they havnt. Both are week links. We need better if we are serious about going for promotion.

    Transfer Rumour January transfer window

100% he would, but there's very little chance that Stoke would have the funds available to meet Doug's valuation. And I doubt they'd have anyone FL would be interested in swapping Eccles for. Tbh, I'd be happy to keep Eccles around, he's versatile and can cover RB when required.

    Rudoni …?

We definitely went down hill once Dennis Lawrence left after the Wolves F.A. cup quarter final, but even he couldn't help when we were picking Collins, Binks and Dasiva in a defensive unit. Those 3 clowns should never play for us again.

    Rudoni …?

Kitching was a massive improvement over Binks. Binks was given a run because he's good at bringing the ball out of defence and can link the defence with the midfield and has a good range of passing. But his first job is to defend, and he's poor at defending! And I mean very poor...

Im posting Something positive about frank lampard

Would you rather be arguing over whether we'd be in the relegation zone if MR had stayed? Honestly, if it ain't the fans arguing amongst themselves over how shit we are, it's the fans arguing over how good we are. Give it up ffs and just enjoy the ride.
