Is if just me, or does anyone else here get frustrated by seeing defenders wrapping both arms round the man they're marking at corners and free kicks? I can't believe they don't get penalised for this. Refs just delay the kick while they go and explain to players that they're not supposed to do...

Did he show the confidence though? Looked dead nervous, I thought. I couldn't believe it was Simms who stepped up to take it, and it looked like he couldn't believe it either. They must practice pens in training so I suppose Simms must have got the job based on that
