They clearly had a lot of targets, but if clubs don't want to sell / want too much money / player wants to high wages / player gets offered more elsewhere / gets an offer at a higher level, what are you supposed to do?
Sign the wrong players? Massively overpay?
It's disappointing...
This is what I don't understand.
He's a good signing, I don't doubt, but why string it out? Now it feels an anti-climax.
I mean, we've gained a stadium, so it seems a bit of a petty quibble, but feels it could have been done better.
Needs a career reboot, really. With hindsight, it would have been better for all concerned if he'd have been sold last summer when his stock was so high. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
Will be a good player for them if he can stay fit.
In a game where the opposition have wrestled control from us.
This isn't the first time either, where he's looked like he doesn't know how to change games going against us.
