    Robins wants midfield general

That's one of the worries, he's not been great either! Similar to Bailey, breaks up play a bit but very hit-and-miss with distribution and decision making. Doyle was relatively composed, as well as being much more energetic than they are..and a better passer than Moussa..Jesus our players are...

    Robins wants midfield general

Try "half the money": we didn't want to keep him really, we couldn't afford him. So we gave him away at the exact point that all the other CM's were injured..

Edge does well against MK's: MK Dons, Marlon King..erm..Meer-Kats?

    50p heads

Last spotted hacking Suarez in the area and getting away with it by complaining to the ref that he's a diver during Norwich's 5-2 hammering on Saturday! He still looks a L1 player (at best).

    Baker

He was absolutely hammered when he got taken off-it was clearly the fact he was being substituted that was cheered, and he knew it, you could tell by his body language as he went off. If anything he gets more stick because he's from Coventry-which I haven't always agreed with. But for the past...

    Is it really that bad?

What concerns me is that we've gone from a side maybe capable of playing well for 45 minutes to one that can maybe play well for 15 minutes. Ah well, at least over a fifth of the season hasn't gone by yet..oh crap. :(

robins open letter to the fans

You clearly have issues with people who are capable of thinking for themselves rather than swallowing any old populist bullshit. Yes, I doubt the integrity of Lynch's source, as it only ever gives a particularly biased perspective. We don't know what agenda his source has. I'm not asking...

Robins: Fleck is a class act

It's hardly a Freddy Eastwood situation though as was alluded to. He said he'd like him to be fitter, not that he was not fit enough to be a pro footballer. As much a reason for his not being included are his footballing ability-his movement and the ball "bouncing off him". What it highlights...

Robins: Fleck is a class act

No, because he alluded to two other reasons why he wasn't playing on Saturday other than fitness!

Don't think I've ever agreed with you more! Where's that Ron Atkinson bloke, he spoke a good game..Aidy spoke a good game...Dowie spoke..well, a different language, actually...

robins open letter to the fans

Lets see how he does AS A MANAGER before we hail him as The Messiah, eh? Man, I have never known a population so gleefully gobble up spin like CCFC fans! That's just like a standard programme column that, isn't it? There's nowt special in it. I know we're starving for something positive, but...

    Worst Player

Bellamy was absolutely atrocious for us! He tended to miss 3 or 4 sitters a game. I hold him responsible for our relegation-if he'd have taken a quarter of those chances, we'd probably have stayed up.

    Mark Robins Chant

Very under-rated. Great left foot, just not the best defensively. But hey, he was a converted striker.

He was on The Big Match Revisited this week playing for Norwich. It was only '83, and HE HAD HAIR!

What about my suggestion from the other week: When the Sky Blue Robins, Comes bob, bob, bobbin' Along! I think it could do with some work, particularly with making the second line football-related.

How big a club are we?

Ask Tim Fisher, he's good at snide. Sorry, couldn't resist :)

How big a club are we?

And that has what exactly to do with me refuting the assertion that Villa were clearly the biggest club in the league for its first 40 years? There's lies, damn lies, and then there's Duffy's totally irrelevant statistics ;)

How big a club are we?

This is getting a bit pointless now, but...they didn't win 6 titles in the 28 years subsequent to the 1890's! They won one (in 1909) that I'd missed, and one more in the 1980's, but that means 1 in 30 years-NO club can claim to be clearly the biggest in the land with only a solitary league title...
