    Doyle Leaving?

Probably because he was out of position, as he had too much ground to cover? We did last season, and it seemed to work. His legs have been 'gone' for a good few years, but in the right tactics he, as last season proves, can be effective.

    Doyle Leaving?

I think this season has been a bit harsh on Michael Doyle. He hasn't once played alongside Kelly, and it has left him exposed alongside Bayliss, or someone else less defensively minded. So it's hard to tell if it is in fact that League 1 is too much of a step up at his age, or if it's just...

    I'll say it

Correct me if I'm wrong, as my memory is a little hazy of that era, but I seem to remember thinking the Dowie sacking was harsh at the time.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Nationalisation is by no means 'far left' or 'communist' policy though, they are already in place in fairly 'central' countries. It only shows how right wing the UK has become when his manifesto, which would be considered right leaning in the majority of Europe, and right wing in Scandinavia...

Match Thread Plymouth Argyle vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 19th Jan

1,000 tickets sold so far, that's excellent for this time of year for a 6 hour+ round trip. Hopefully we can sell the remaining 200 in the next few days.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Labour's own manifesto is surprisingly right-leaning - Corbyn proposes lower corporate tax rates and lower income tax rates than those of the Thatcher years, for instance. To call his policies far left and to keep harping on about how he wants Communism for Britain is to have uncritically...

Highfield Road Or The Ricoh ?

I will never get over Highfield Road, and hate the Ricoh and all similar new stadiums with a passion - which is why I prefer away games. BUT, I haven't seen anyone mention the improvement to access since the train station became functional. I've been using it for the last 9 months or so, and...

    Unpatriotic English People

I consider myself an unpatriotic Englishman, but I always support England in sport, and GB in the Olympics etc. And was cheering us on in full force in all of our games this tournament. It's more on the global or political front I feel unpatriotic, and embarrassed by England, some of the...
