Crew fans been on the pop

Any other team and yes fans would be going made but this is Coventry City, how many false dawns have we had over the last 45 years?? Maybe, just maybe this is our year, No where near some of the bad times I remember driving back to Essex after losing 5-1 at Tranmere (yes quite a while ago, but...

Crew fans been on the pop

Yes mate I do, but struggling to find too many positives for this game, Fleck 1 card away from 2 games ban, no big & nasty CD in as yet, AA firing blanks, Ricketts making way too many mistakes I hope this is just the NY lack of sleep, we need the win to kick start 2016 and avoid dropping...

Crew fans been on the pop

Sadly I think they are right, our record against ain't good add to that our last 6 games and I think we will be lucky to get a point. Just hope our luck changes

    Favourite Moment of 2015

Millwall Away - Great play, team really clicked that day

    James Maddison - 'The Prince'

His only played a handfull of games, has so much potential, but I've seen so many players over the years be in his position and disappear without a trace. Just let him play, enjoy it whilst his here.

    Crewe (Away) Match Thread

Would not risk Fleck, need him for Walsall and Burton, if he plays he will get a booking and be out for 2 games

    Mowbray one game touchline ban

looking at it on the day, it looked like an exchange of opinions, but the ref was going to let it go as he started to go back on the pitch, then TM said something, that was why he was sent to the stands. My guess is the initial part was asking why he allowed the play to restart before the sub...

    These next fixtures

Need a min of 9 points if we are still looking at Autos Heart: Crewe W Walsall W Burton W Southend D 10 points and closing the gap on top two. Head: Crewe L Walsall D Burton L Southend D 2 points and slipping down the table Having said that I had us leading the table by 5 points when I...

If you could sign one player...

Most of these names would command a fee, very little evidence that we would/could afford to pay for any of these players, unfortunately I think we are realistically looking at free agents or loans. In order of preference (assuming the current squad are staying put and we don't sell anybody)...

Good Ticket Sales For Boxing Day

Can you not pay on the gate for this one? Any walk ups will get better seats than if you buy on line now, assuming blocks 26 will be on for cash

Would you sell him for £10m

If I could pocket it all yes. ;) The lad needs to play football not sit in an U21 side, if he goes to another club, there needs to be a loan back agreement, but he will end up loaned to a championship side, so no promotion this season = last we ever see of him playing for City. As I've said...

    1999/2000 season

Last away game of the season Wetherspoons in Watford town centre - if you were there you'd know, one of the best pre-game drinkup/party I've had, absolute picture on police faces as they were going to come into the pub fearing it was kicking off to see both set of fans partying. great memories.

    Maddison

Totally agree, there seems to be a expectation that he will walk on the pitch and play 3/4 killer balls in his first few touches. Give him time, he is a massive talent, but don't heap pressure on him. Enjoy the next few months of him, cause that maybe is all we get, I hope not, but if the...

    Crowd v's Oldham

I'm surprised that there are more tickets sold for this game than the Boxing day game, usually far bigger crowd on Boxing day. Over 1600 seats left on quick tickets for 26th less than 600 for 19th. Roll on Saturday

    Ricketts

Didn't think you can appeal yellow cards, even if we can you know the ref will then hide behind the "intent" remember Dublin v Blackburn (A) no contact on appeal ref change his mind to intent. Ref let game flow but my god his missed the big decisions today, sending off, penalty, goal.

Do CCFC hold the biggest recorded away attendance in England?

Yep looking back at it, an incident could have happened that. I was in the middle pen directly behind the goal, when Cyril scored we all went mad, didn't see my mates again till part the way through the 2nd half and they were only 30ft away. What an atmosphere though, such happy memories

Do CCFC hold the biggest recorded away attendance in England?

Yep, I think your are right with this or though I think it was more than that in the end and we had a spill over into the stand on the LHS to us.

Nail it mate, just can't see why some on here attack a city player (Burge) even when not playing. For keepers they are both young and will get better, eventually finding their level. Everybody should take a deep breath and let them continue their education in the art of keeping.

    Chris Stokes

I really though he was going to be our weakest link this season, Oh how wrong I have been, really impressed with him this season, fair play to him, happy to be proved wrong in this case.
