    Fisher Lost The Plot

Depressing but true. It's clear that all SISU care about going forward is running the club at break even and not wanting to write off their investment on an exit from CCFC. Unsure as to how much and exactly where this investment lies within SISU's books but clearly this is an issue.

    Wave of optimism

I think the most interesting point that Fisher made last night was about SISU not wishing to crystallise the loss they have made in CCFC. Surely this is the only reason why SISU are still here and I think he rather let the cat out of the bag on this. I guess we're just at the mercy of accounting...

Yes. It's obvious. SISU have a £60m investment they don't won't to crystallise as a loss. Surround it with legals and convince everyone it's recoverable,

For the avoidance doubt my question is can you name cities in England of a similar size to Coventry who do not have a football club in a better position both on and off the pitch than CCFC.

OK so name similar sized cities with a demographic similar to Coventry whose football clubs are in as bad a state as CCFC

And we should expect to be in the Championship or Premier League. Because CCFC is the only football club in a large, predominantly working class city, comparisons with Fleetwood are not appropriate. We have a huge latent fan base and spent 37 consecutive seasons in The top flight of English...

I'll throw in that Vincelot was on £2k a week last season and is now on £2.2k a week at Bradford

    League 2 beckons

If SISU go we'll stay at the Ricoh.

    League 2 beckons

Vincelot was sold in the summer as he was a high earner on £2k a week.

    mowbray about to walk ?

And I bet both Rotherham and Mowbray wished he'd been appointed there now. Kelvin Wilson, who signed for Rotherham rather than CCFC in the summer, has been absolutely dire for them this season.

    Mowbray, Go or Stay?

If Mowbray is to stay he will have to change our playing style. We simply do not have the players to play effective, possession based football this season. If he persists with trying to play this way, we will be relegated 'We let far too many good players go and failed to replace the quality...

Cov utd to play at Butts next season

I don't disagree with any of that and it's no silver bullet. Struggling to see a way out of this mess to be honest though, as I suspect are our owners!

Cov utd to play at Butts next season

Other than the golden share what is there to buy? I think SISU may just walk away at the end of next season, I can see no evidence of them being interested in football at present. The golden share is a right to play league football, I think they could transfer that to football people in the city...

It is interesting. Don't bet against Coventry United picking up the golden share one day.

Sport England green light for wasps training base at Higgs

Totally agree. For me I think that means a brand new professional football club in Coventry, Coventry United? CCFC is toxic, anyone interested in buying the club would have to do business with SISU which Is not exactly an appealing prospect. On a relatively low budget a semi professional...

It's worse than you can inagine

Don't dismiss out of hand what Juggy said yesterday. I don't know Juggy personally but have good reason to believe that TM could well have said what Is claimed.

    The Budget

Look at the fall off in our season ticket holder numbers since 2010/11. More evidence (if were needed) that SISU are killing the club.
