Don't get me wrong, pace in the back 2 would be great.
But Milan does a lot of clearing up, if we had a left back who could do the same we'd be a lot more secure.
After what I've been watching over the last few months I'm genuinely in awe of the ball going up to the big Palace striker and him getting it under control.
That came later. And definitely contributed.
But if you look into that I'm not sure the narrative they pulled out is correct.
Fairly sure they had pressure put on them to play in order to support the world cup bid.
