    Club Statement on remaining games

Blimey, that's a bit cultured for here! I've just read it here: http://www.online-literature.com/walter_scott/marmion/ I like the line "Of the fair dame that rules the land" ;) But I guess you were hinting at: "Oh, what a tangled web we weave, When first we practise to deceive!"

CET: Joe Elliot confirms talks and that Hoffman Would also join the board.

Heck yeah, the other reason I watched it was for "Tyres"! Loved the semi-improvised nature of a lot of the scenes, especially first two thirds-they helped to made it a lot more convincing. Deffo a Wicker Man vibe. The director said that he wasn't directly influenced by it, but influenced by...

CET: Joe Elliot confirms talks and that Hoffman Would also join the board.

I watched that on 4 last night, mainly because after Utopia everyone said it was the thing to watch for more top-form Neil Maskell. He was great in it, but the 3rd act was one hell of a change of pace! I've just about got my head around what happened, but it took a few hours of reading blogs...

    Potentially 4 interested parties

I 'warned of the dangers of a hedge fund taking over', but it doesn't mean I now agree with everything they do. The opposite.

Wrexham win FA Trophy Final at Wembley

Nice to hear that Cieslewicz was good sw, I've read plenty of positive things about him. If I ever get FM again, it'll have to be Wrexham I manage first!

Why have BBC CWR sided with SISU?

No, they won't, it was confirmed last night after the experience with SISU in negotiations thus far that it would be very difficult to do a deal with SISU. Although it was then added that the council would just veto it even if they did.

Preston Haskell IV to buy Alan Higgs charity.

So do I and I sit on the other side of some (mostly non-football) arguments to Torch, so it doesn't!

So are you suggesting that the toaster actually pre-dated sliced bread and that the entire Sliced Bread Initiative was founded on the basis of making use of this hitherto useless piece of machinery? Sounds a bit like pulling the cart before the horse. Which is apt given the subject of this...
