Precedent is hardly relevant in unprecedented times. He is using one process to run down the clock and deny another. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

They’re trying to stop no deal as the vote was won on gaining a better deal. Even the government accept no deal would be damaging. A good deal would have made it through the house. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This is desperate. You’re floundering. Look at the cognitive dissonance you’re employing to try and make this seem right. Parliament legislating is ripping up parliamentary sovereignty but parliament being denied a voice isn’t. Remarkable. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Amazing that as the charlatans ride roughshod over democracy we’re critiquing a previous labour leader. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If only somebody had thought ahead and it had been a two stage referendum - a vote on negotiating an exit deal and then a vote to go through with that or remain. This would have forced the no deal types to show their hands rather than pervert democracy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

We’re a nation succumbing to the will of billionaire oligarchs who have interfered in the democratic process and not been punished. The struggle to get back to where we were pre Brexit will be long and hard. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No right thinking, democratically minded person will be able to take them seriously again. So they’ll still probably get about 30% of the vote consistently. Moderate tories surely need to jump ship Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This will likely accelerate the end of the monarchy in its current format. Add that to the list of things to be sacrificed on the alter of Brexit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

If your point is that the governments policy is Brexit then it is for an improved deal as that is what the mandate from the referendum is. What they’re trying to stop, as you well know, is a plan that isn’t government policy, that nobody voted for, that around 25% of the population want and...

Based on the fact the commons is there to discuss and vote on legislation and removing its right to do so is, by definition, anti democratic as the commons is the voice of the people. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Why do you keep banging on about a VoNC? It doesn’t legitimise what Johnson is attempting and in fact reduces his motive for trying to force no deal through in this manner. Again, please stop deflecting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Much more likely to be the plan than the idea they want to force the WA through. It’s Cummings trying to repeat the referendum. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
