    Season tickets for 2024/2025 season

I know quite a few people who go a few times a season whenever any of our season tickets are spare amongst our group so the season ticket still gets used and they're stood with people they know. They will also pay on the gate a few times too, so never actually needed an account of their own. I...

    VAR needs an overhaul

Regardless of the implementation: For anyone who goes to games it's shit. For people watching on TV, it's exciting. As someone who goes to games, I've stomached incorrect decisions for years, and that's football. But having something taken away 2 minutes+ later due to VAR (even if it's...

    Are People Moving?

It says it takes up to 24 hours for those moving for their previous seat to be released, so will be interesting to see tomorrow where they're mostly moving from. Although it looks like 14-16 are still popular, as they've made the end seats on every row available again that they limited the...

Home fans in South Stand v Preston - Trial Confirmed

Agreed, if everyone who wants to sing and stand moves over, it's a no brainer to move. Only issue is if they don't realign their safe standing proposals to match this. Also, if this was to happen, there's bound to be a handful of unsuspecting people (who maybe are less au fait with social media...

Home fans in South Stand v Preston - Trial Confirmed

I guess it depends on the uptake and mix, if there's an even(ish) movement of people from the north stand, blocks 1-3 and the corner, then there could be a mish mash of people wanting to stand up and sing, and people wanting to sit down and behave themselves. Could cause arguments and dilute the...

Home fans in South Stand v Preston - Trial Confirmed

Just nervous about moving over from 15 and being asked to sit down, which is apparently what has happened to people going there this season hoping to make an atmosphere...

Home fans in South Stand v Preston - Trial Confirmed

Is there any update on the safe standing situation? Would they still be looking to have it in blocks 14/15/16, or could this impact it. Because if all of singers corner moves over to blocks 10/11 then they may want to review that.

I feel like we were keeping it under wraps to potentially unleash him as a secret weapon in the playoffs.

    Callum O'Hare

Yes I get all that, but you stated if he invested every penny of a 3 year deal on 20k he would have 1.6m. But that's only if he immediately withdraws it. If he still has a football career for another 10 years, then he can 'only' save 500k, leave it invested and double it to 1m before starting to...

    24/25 changes?

If he had end product as well he'd be out of our price range. We sign unpolished diamonds with the correct attributes and hope Adi and co can work their magic to increase their stock.

    24/25 changes?

Does sound very much like an ideal replacement for O'Hare, especially in regards to his off the ball work. In a better team, under Robins and Adi, it's easy to imagine here being the ideal place for him to kick on further. Hopefully he wouldn't be too expensive with Huddersfield going down...

    24/25 changes?

Anyone know how Rudoni has been doing at Huddersfield? I remember I wanted us to sign him from Wimbledon when we got promoted, but he went to Huddersfield. We had a lot less money then, but he would have still been within our budget, and meets our criteria of young with resaleability. Last I...

    Callum O'Hare

You're assuming he's leaving that money stagnant for the duration of his career. If he invests it wisely in the stock market (his financial advisor will tell him what to do), then he would comfortably get 7% cumulative annual growth over a 10 year period in low risk investments, which would...

Interesting take on the reality of the promised land

I think I would take us getting promoted (for the money to sort the club out, essentially), staying up after having a good first season (no one wants to come straight back down) and then get relegated the following season after the novelty of the Prem has well worn off and we're all sick to...

Match Thread Southampton - Coventry City Match Thread - Tuesday 9th Apr

Yeah, my respect is that high for the man's genius that I often think he's relaying subliminal messages within messages sometimes! My theory for last night's interview though is that he's being prescient and sending an indirect message to the team regarding the run in. After Blues, it's 2 games...

Match Thread Southampton - Coventry City Match Thread - Tuesday 9th Apr

Beat Blues, Preston get a result at home to Norwich and it's back in our hands. Preston winning tonight was massive for us, Norwich have looked unstoppable recently, so their capitulation tonight, combined with being up against a fighting to the death Preston could hopefully put it back in our...

    ANNOUNCE CITY UNSEEN

On it's own, that bit would sound naff. If by some miracle the majority of the fanbase could learn the verses, then it would sound pretty epic if we sang that, getting louder as it gathered momentum, and then culminated with one rendition of this (with a suitable pause before the 'don't let it...

    Callum O’hare

I guess we couldn't afford the risk of offering a 10k+ contract to a player when there is uncertainty of how well he will recover from a serious injury. In hindsight it would obviously have been a good idea, but at the time we had no idea how well he would recover and what level he would be at.
