Im sure AI will be capable of solving the issues, like maybe coming up with a pick up point, outside the turnstiles, ...fuck me, that's it!!! A Ureka moment in human intelligence, right here on SBT

You havnt grasped it have you. What train will pick you up from your door, and drop you off again? The days of you travelling by car or public transport to a "station" and then having to use another form of transport to complete the one journey are coming to an end. That CBS train station...

Possibly, it would be useful if KKH could operate as a RW occasionally away from home, as that's when Sakamoto often becomes anonymous, and KKH could give us a more solid look. But I still think MVE is on his way unfortunately.

Does the bus pick you up from your door and return you home? It's as dumb as park and ride where you drive your car to a location, only to get on another form of transport to complete your journey. So your using 2 forms of transport and paying for both.

Basically, but with a computer system that covers a far wider area, and is open to multi pick up and drop offs, with no driver wages to pay, minimal fuel costs, and virtually no maintenance costs, no insurance costs (computer operated driving) etc. The cost to the user will be so cheap...

I start work at 6am, and my car sits idle in the car park at work all day. On my way to work nearly every other car I see has 1 occupant in, that's unbelievably inefficient. An automated vehicle could have more people in and drop me (and others) off at 6am, then off to drop others of at 7am...

    If we clear £4 million…….

You do realise that MF is literally our strongest area of the pitch dont you? Im sure we'd be better served with a GK or CH or L/R W or striker before adding yet another midfielder.

Why would you convert euros to pounds and pay an exchange rate? You'd leave it in a foreign bank in euros, a good business accountant would do far more with it that way.

Time isnt going to make any difference, it might be 2025 but look how many local councils are poorly run or bankrupt. Look at the madness in the NHS, all nationalisation would do is put the countries infrastructure in the hands of idiots who would be at the mercy of the unions. (Much like...

Exactly, it just leads to massive inflation, Which is why it's a stupid suggestion. As is pay by the mile, which hits haulage companies who put their prices up which means goods on the shelves go up which means more inflation. Barmy.

I can see car ownership stopping completely in the next 50 years or so, with autonomous vehicles you will be able to book a driverless car to pick you up and drive you to work, then collect you at the end of your shift and take you home. In the mean time that car will go off and take...

There's over 50 years worth of crude oil left in known oil fields, and new oil fields are regularly being found, add to that the fact that previously hard to reach supplies will be viable with future improvements in extraction, and you realise that there's no worrying timescale on oil...
