    Events Executive Job Going

Thanks for the welcome ;) Just relaying what I know, and what I have experienced through my wife. Its sad that there is little feedback these days but a lot of HR departments are severely under pressure. I have experienced good and bad treatment by ones I have worked for, but the common...

Stand up if you've never watched Wasps

Its funny Saracens moved back to London, and now London Irish are aiming to. London Irish: Club 'moving closer' to London return from Madejski Stadium - London Irish: Club 'moving closer' to London return from Madejski Stadium Only one club who didn't value their heritage and fans. I like the...

Stand up if you've never watched Wasps

It would be the end of the sport if that happened. No competition and same old repetition year on year. Probably something suggested by bellend owners and chief execs like Wasps Nick Eastwood and Derek Richardson.

ricoh grows in value......according to wasps

I'm sorry Italia but that comment makes you look an utter prick. The fact you are stating this to Nick because he is arguing with you over a point of principle, makes you just the same as him as you are doing the same. The fact this irony is lost on you and that you should also do the same and...

    Sunderland fans

It's a fair point G, but as we know the Internet gives us all a voice, and theirs albeit mainly on their forum has been pretty vitriolic, certainly the morons celebrating the death of Jimmy Hill. I have met a few Sunderland fans in my time and most have made mention to the Bristol City game...

    Sunderland fans

This bloke Colin Randall, Colin Randall (@salutsunderland) on Twitter wrote a piece about us going down to League One on his website Salut Sunderland, laughing at how shit we were etc etc. I think he had a few impolite responses. I look forward to dropping the site an email to laugh at their...

    Paying up Saturday?

I believe he bet G as well. So that would be three bets, Astute, Fernando, and G that he hasn't paid out on, and several charities missing out, and he's run away hiding. Poor form really. ** Edit, now G and Hill confirmed it was Fernando, but G involved as Dongo tried to worm his way out of the...

    Stones at the Ricoh

When the person saying it says that both events are good for Coventry and that he prefers another due to the acts at that event, then your sour grapes comment was clearly relating to Wasps. I will leave it there as I don't want our disagreement to derail the thread, and I agree with LAST's...

    Stones at the Ricoh

I see what you did there Otis you cheeky monkey , you know I meant the Big Weekend and The Stones, or was I actually referring to CCFC and their academy, as both great for Coventry!

    Stones at the Ricoh

I agree, I think both events are great for the City. Personally I prefer what's on at the Big Weekend to the Stones, but that's my preference and I won't let arseholes like Italia make out its something to do with Wasps, when I have stated they are both good for Coventry.

    Stones at the Ricoh

You really are a prize arsehole. I much prefer the line up at the Big Weekend. Deal with it. It will also have a higher profile and more publicity for the City than a one off Stone's Concert. If you read my original post I actually said I thought the Stones Concert was a good thing for the City...

    Stones at the Ricoh

Because I prefer it. Surely your brain can comprehend choice and preference.

    Stones at the Ricoh

People may mention that, but for some the Big Weekend is a bigger Coup for the City, with more publicity than the Stones Concert will get (although I do think the Stones playing in Coventry is a good thing)

The top three places you miss most from Coventry city centre

Enjoyed going to the BHS cafe too. My grandparents always stocked up on the sugar cubes they let you help yourselves too with the cups of tea. They were wrapped in paper so they ended up grabbing a handful each stuffing them in their pockets and taking them home.

The top three places you miss most from Coventry city centre

And me. Do you remember when it first opened in the lower precinct, was one shop width wide, and was a bit on the cramped side. It was much better when they extended it into the shop space next door. Was never so keen on the new place.
