That’s a good argument, and I agree, as it’s too easy for someone of Gilbert’s level to use it when he needs to.

But those threads were up when we got together as a single unit, and no one asked them to be removed then. Pretty sure he got the threats just before he left, but also a few months before when it was reported he was unsettled. Who would have thought the team he left Coventry, and the team he went on to join, Wimbledon would win the cup in those few years, whilst united won nothing.
