Well if that's the 34, we need to stop dishing out so many pro contracts to players who are never going to be good enough for the first team, as that's where the bulk comes from.

    2013 Cricket Season

Chris Wright reminds me of Larwood...not that I'm that old, obviously! http://www.espncricinfo.com/county-cricket-2013/content/story/631295.html Wright, Keith Barker, Rikki Clarke and Chris Woakes-not many teams have 3 all rounders in a 4 man pace attack. With a quality spinner too.

    City to Exit Administration?

So clearly it was said! This is pretty massive news, no?

    Message to Mr Pressley

And there was another one where it opened up perfectly to be hit with his right, but he went and took a couple more touches

And I forgot Daniels as well. Easy to do...point stands thought that the vast majority of his "34" are nowhere near the first team and youngsters.

Garner was the youngster I forgot. Phillips and Burge don't count as they are not at the club at present-he was talking about organising games of 11 v 11 in training.

Ah Ruffles and Thomas. Forgotten men indeed. I thought I heard that Roberts and Henderson are being released? We may as well release Ruffles too and unless we're going to give Thomas a chance, is there any point keeping him?
  9. Nonleagueherewecome

    False position

You don't get promoted from L1 by signing players who were released by mid-table L1 sides. Neither is a 30-something backup LB a luxury that we can afford.

    City to Exit Administration?

OK so it was to the Premier Club, and I assume there was a SBT presence, which is how we'll get that statement later. Looking forwards to it, would love to know what was actually said seeing as it's the first statement of intent by SISU since the appeal was withdrawn.

    Seething, emotional, heartfelt, solidarity !!!??

I know 12 City fans who aren't on this forum: 11 of them want SISU to leave. I'm not sure about Torchomatic's dad!

Possibly the worst post of the day..no, week.

    Not looking good

I will never diminish the extent to which SISU are capable of being stupid and doing stupid things! Remember Dulieu.....Dulieu!!!!!!!

    City to Exit Administration?

Sounds like it! "Play Up Irthlingborough FC!" Hang on that's probably more than 30 miles, isn't it? "Play Up Hinckley Rovers!"
  16. Nonleagueherewecome

    Should mcsheffery play today

I find this really hard to believe given that he was mooted for a comeback today and still didn't get a game, not even as sub when we were 1 down.
  17. Nonleagueherewecome

    Not looking good

"Not looking good" is possibly the greatest under-statement ever. If it's 80/20 that we won't be at the Ricoh next season, then count me out!
  18. Nonleagueherewecome

    False position

And maybe he can turn it around? Of all those I'd get rid of he's the one I'd consider keeping, partly due to that talent, partly 'cos we probably aint got no bloody choice! Baker has had a good season, for all that he's hit a wall..but I can't see Bell making it to 50 games in a season like...

    City to Exit Administration?

But aren't SISU's debts mainly to SISU? :thinking about:
