    Players bloody Sunday ?

Yeah but Wood gave a few enigmatic hints to fans at the end of last season that he was "going home" but it didn't quite work out that way. I think he's dreaming if he thinks he's still a Championship player. He lost any pace he had about 3 years ago-unless he's been coasting for the past few...

    Players bloody Sunday ?

'Sunday Bloody Sunday': What a great song. It really encapsulates the frustration of a Sunday, doesn't it? You wake up in the morning, you've got to read all the Sunday papers, the kids are running round....you've got to mow the lawn, wash the car, and you think "Sunday, bloody Sunday!".

I can't help but feel that your views on the working classes are pretty much what Osbourn & Cameron are thinking, but can't say!

    Clarke-harris

If true, this possibly makes him the most Chavvy footballer in the history of the game. And that's saying something.

First game of the season at Yeovil....

I'll agree that it's a very weak L1 this season. Poor relegated sides like Doncaster don't usually bounce straight back up like they did this year (witness our results against them, too!) but there hasn't been anyone any better than them. Contrast that with promoted sides for recent years such...

One positive from the last two games is David Bell. He was very good considering the lack of match fitness last week and from what I've read and heard of today, he again showed some class. I hope Mr Miserable Paul on the phone-in is wrong when he says that we are "paying him off in the summer"...

Firstly, he's too inexperienced to be the navigator for a big first team game. And whatever his experience, he has no sense of direction anyway (and probably never will have) and is a very poor map reader. Secondly, surely the coach driver realised that he was getting incorrect directions? He's...

Pressley thought the team were EXCELLENT!!!!

Hammering a manager for not playing a big man up front is one thing, admitting that he doesn't have one in the squad is quite another. But lambasting a manager and then suggesting that he should select Richard Wood as a centre forward really is in a class of its own

    Oh, what HOPES we had!

I'd like to see at which point McGoldrick came in on that graph-and which point Clarke got injured!

    latest statement from Mr Appleton

SISU must be the "animal" rather than CCFC, then? Semantics perhaps but there is a significant difference between CCFC and SISU! If SISU are an animal they must be a crocodile: don't believe their tears and look out for their sharp teeth. It does seem that they've broken quite a lot of them...
