I’m not sure they can, once a preferred bidder has been identified, it’s down to the finer detail's. SISU won’t get anywhere near it now, it will all be a pre pack admin with a Ashley.

Yup, sorry to say it really does just look like he’s in it to buy the CBS, the football club just doesn’t seem to be on the radar.

Nothings been filed about an extension and an update tomorrow, tells me that there has been an offer accepted and it’s going to be finalised overnight.

This is what I’m wondering, if there was an extension to the NOI then that would have also surely been announced by now.

So what does this mean for ACL? Still going into Admin? Or has a last minute deal been struck to purchase the CBS from one of the above parties? I really thought we would have heard something by now.

Starting to think that it’s still going to be weeks and weeks before we’re any clearer on what’s actually happening.

As much as I don’t doubt that Dawkins heart is in the right place in all of this with McEvoy I still think my preferred outcome would be Ashley coming out with the lot.

Dawkins tweeted 20 minutes ago saying “WE CONTINUE” your guess is as good as mine what that means.

This is what I can’t get my head round, why would he be in for the CBS against SISU if they were in agreement.

I’d more than take it, reunites the stadium with football club at long long last, gives SISU a saleable asset, and finally puts to bed all the gaslighting about a new stadium we’ve had for the last 10 years.

Do people really think we’re coming out of all this today with ownership of the CBS? This is Coventry City, we will no doubt be on tour again tomorrow!
