I can’t really see what others do in Eccles, I feel for Hamer at the moment, feels like he’s single handedly trying to run the midfield. Eccles spends 80% hiding behind opposition players not wanting to receive the ball. Badly missing Sheaf to work with Hamer and regain some control in midfield.

We just don’t have the money or lure to get any top players at this level unfortunately. We have to pick through players that others don’t want. If we want a player that others are also linked with, we’re bottom of that list.

The back end of this window and the outlook for the rest of the season is screaming 11-12 relegation season. Scrambling for poor loans to bulk the squad out with kids and hope a decent striker that is our only goal threat keeps us up. Jutkiewicz then Vik now.
