Northampton Town chairman: Coventry City can afford rent

Worked really well the first time!

Northampton Town chairman: Coventry City can afford rent

Yet another nail in the 'this is all about the revenue' coffin then?

Northampton Town chairman: Coventry City can afford rent

Out of curiosity, do you know who gets the proceeds from matchday sales of food and beverages? I would imagine your club would; it's your ground, after all!

I can see someone doing something silly

I sincerely hope not. Imagine how pissed we'd be if the situation was reversed. Nobody deserves that kind of Neanderthalistic shit.

Well I'm a little sick and tired of our football club being used as a bloody pawn.

    yeah!!! Everyone loves bribery!!! :D

Actually this is a question I haven't seen the answer to. Do we get all the extra matchday revenue from Sixfields during our matches, or does it go to Northampton? Would be a masterstroke of financial idiocy to partly blame a lack of revenue streams for leaving one ground, then renting another...

Oh, you mean they'll actually start to follow them? That'll be a novelty!

Fair play to you, I say. I don't necessarily agree, and I certainly wouldn't provide them any financial support in any way, because they have burned the last of their bridges with me. It will take a great deal of time, and positive actions, to start to regain any of my trust. I do however...

    The Hill Solution

The douchebags on social media saying crap like, "let's go to NTFC and wreck their ground" do us no favours, that is true. For what it's worth most of us would prefer for Sixfields to be the home of the Cobblers and nobody else.

    An e-mail from CCLSC

It's more likely that the supervillains are behind this SISU plot. Where's Batman when you need him?

    here comes fisher

In fairness, SISU have done very little to engender trust in them. Consequently people worry that even if they got hold of the entire Ricoh complex, it would be put to use for their own gains; and we would be left out in the cold. Not being able to even guarantee we would own our 'new ground'...

As a Sky Blues International member, I am extremely pleased that the CCLSC has taken this stance. I am also pleased that they have targeted all parties.

They had no problems with sub judice when it came to giving answers to the Sky Blue Trust though. Ironic eh?

Football League need to justify there decision.

Their rules about moving clubs also state that there must be no negative impact on supporters or sponsors. Looks like they didn't bother with that either. Any thoughts I had about the Football League being an utterly pointless body have all been confirmed.

It is possible for people to put pressure on ACL/CCC while at the same time maintaining that they are less responsible for this mess than our illustrious owners.

    here comes fisher

That's fine, but given there is a very real possibility of them playing with increasingly dwindling playing budgets over the course of the next five years, the club's ability to put a successful team on the park is going to be adversely affected. It's a bloody big gamble to take when a 130...

    Liquidation or Northampton?

I'm confused. Fisher says agree or we liquidate. Except they would just be liquidating a non-operating subsidiary with no players, staff or any other parts of the football club. So what's the problem, Mr. Fisher? Get rid of Limited, you keep telling us you don't need it. ;)
  20. The Penguin

So, you'd rather go to the ricoh?

Are 10 000 people going to go and watch the supporters team every single week? I see your point and do agree with it somewhat but I'm just not sure that's the answer.
