Your Favourite player who was actually shite

Roussel was pretty good for about half a season (the Entertainers season) in fairness to him.

Your Favourite player who was actually shite

Agree with this. He wasn't a great player but my goodness did he do his job well for us.

Spurs v Sunderland on sky sports now

When I wrote that post it was earlier in the game, and Liverpool were certainly not dominating anything. Second half was a different story though.

Watching it now. The quality of football is...interesting. Add this to Liverpool being outplayed by the Melbourne Victory (though they are 1-0 up at half time) and all in all, it's a pretty crappy night for advertising the "world's best league" :D

    Has this ever been explained

Far as I'm concerned it should only be our responsibility if we owned the whole thing, lock, stock and barrel. If we were only a part owner, and stood to benefit as such, I could accept being a partner but nothing more.

Yesterday + Plan for this week + 11 Aug

I think the next Football League/FA protest needs to be publicised in advance, as Saturday's was in the Telegraph. As our resident Cobbler rabble rouser NTFC has said on several occasions, there are other groups who would likely be willing to join, and help coordinate, such a protest.

Yesterday + Plan for this week + 11 Aug

I think any future protests and action need to be in Coventry. Attacking this from the Keep Cov in Cov angle is the best way to ensure maximum numbers. You could also have protests at the Football League, because they also need to be squeezed. I wouldn't do anything in Northampton personally...

Ainsworth Coventry City Limited Board Report

Perhaps it's to try and add further proof to the potential lie that Holdings has, in the words of Tim Fisher, "always been the football club". It also doesn't explain why the last set of published accounts for Limited still contained the significant majority of the football-related activity.

    Protest Thread 20/7/13

Fair to say that the turnout has far exceeded my expectations. This needs to be seized on now though. There's a chance to build some real momentum behind a fan movement to put pressure on all parties.

Coventry Cobblers Vs Blades on TV

Won't it be such a boost for the club to be on TV with a crowd of about 3.

Protest in Coventry City Centre - Midday on Saturday 20th July

Would love to be there, distance makes it slightly tricky. Unless somebody wants to spring for my flight ;) Seriously, everybody who can go, should go to this. It's a no-brainer in my view. I echo the sentiments of others on here, this is a chance to put all this ACL/SISU shite to one side...

Are Sisu going to turn CCFC into Northampton Town over time?

I will say though that I'm not sure the Football League would sit silently by if SISU failed to follow through on their relocation plans. Failure to act would be seen as an open invitation to club owners to do whatever they want, and I don't think they really want that to happen. Let's hope we...

Are Sisu going to turn CCFC into Northampton Town over time?

Alive has so many different forms. At the moment, we're the elderly relative in the assisted living facility, ekeing out a meagre existence from day to day until the organs can simply function no longer. We might be 'alive' but this is no form of living. Not saying you're wrong either...

Are Sisu going to turn CCFC into Northampton Town over time?

I really would like to believe that is true. It requires one to have faith in the Football League though.

Gary Hoffman’s long-distance attempt to meet Coventry City’s chief Tim Fisher

Thank you for your erudite and insightful reply. I assume you have nothing useful to say?

    Cobblers fan with questions

Depends on the site, I guess. The speedway site at Brandon was rumoured, but as has been pointed out on here by several, it is located in such a place that any planning permission application could be tied up for years in appeals and challenges.

Gary Hoffman’s long-distance attempt to meet Coventry City’s chief Tim Fisher

Well, according to Article 107(1) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, I'm not sure that SISU can pursue a claim of state aid. One of the tests is that the aid provided by the State must "affect trade between Member States". Not quite sure how providing a loan to a stadium...

Gary Hoffman’s long-distance attempt to meet Coventry City’s chief Tim Fisher

Oh right, so it was the council that sold Highfield Road and paid just shy of a million pounds per season to rent it back! Bryan Richardson will be so pleased that it wasn't his fault after all! edit: Seyeclops beat me to it!
