    First half performances

I like your way of thinking Clint but should we be worried if we are winning 2-0 at half time?

    Bobby Gould not happy!

Gould would have been better off signing Crystal Gayle, think she would have offered more upfront.

DMP should have too much for Caldy at home, Loughborough tend to get better as the season progresses and Cov have had a couple of reverses at Esher in the last 2 seasons. Wouldn't surprise me to see DMP and Cov still unbeaten after next week and Plymouth having a narrow win against Loughborough.

Well done lads. Beaten both of the top two teams and not far off averaging 2 points a game. Just need a bit more consistency against the bottom half teams and being greedy, would be nice to be 1 or 2 up at half time. Good day all round with CRFC winning too.

Will it take much effort this time to get your 5 pints before the first try is scored? :emoji_relaxed:

First Ever Cov Match You Saw ?

There was a 2-2 draw against Orient in Sept 1954 with Peter Taylor in goal and Tommy Capel on the scoresheet. Could it have been that game?

Just hope we have the same mindset as in the Moseley game, straight at them from the off. Think home advantage will tilt this our way by 8 to 12 points.

Excellent news on top of the many positive steps the Club have taken on field in the last 2 or 3 months. Just hope it isn't the pre-cursor to any further off field dramas that will kick us all in the teds.

Things That Don't Annoy You :-)

For those of you familiar with Gresty Road, just round the corner there is a very nice Indian restaurant called A Passage to India. I always have a little chuckle when the missus asks in all innocence if I'd like to take her up The Passage on Saturday night.

I quite like the square toe shoes my missus has just bought, they help her stand much closer to the sink.

    The telegraph understands...

Also slightly confused in the Mickey Adams article where reference is made to a panda called Chu Chu, which I understand is a fictional panda in children's books. But the Telegraph have a picture of a panda captioned Chu Chu the panda. Wasn't the panda in question called Chi Chi? PS Can't...

Match Thread Coventry City - Exeter City Match Thread - Saturday 23rd Sep

Obviously a tough game against the league leaders who have 3 wins and a draw from their away league games so far. I think the occasion will inspire us, hope we can have a strong first half for once and be a goal or two up at the break. 2-1 win. PS. Longest away journey for Exeter so far, maybe...
