Even if he signed an extension we’d most likely cash in on him next year so I’m sure there’s a list of young, relatively unknown players that we are looking at possibly brining in. Maybe we’ll now move on one of those before this fully plays out.

Always good content. Just listened and they did caveat it around Hamer but thought it was a pretty fair assessment. Interesting how bullish they were on Ipswich and they were more positive on Sunderland’s recruitment than ours which surprised me a little.

It was always a possibility. MR will have a list of replacements. The difficulty will be getting the right fee and the right player in.

This is my worry. He’s clearly going to miss his kid and it’s possible his form could suffer. Obviously he finished the season strongly so hopefully that wouldn’t be the case.
