Nobody is justifying it. It’s just a stupid example of “two tier policing”and not realistic to expect the police to disperse them when they haven’t the numbers to stop mobs setting fire to hotels and smashing their way in. Anyone carrying a weapon should be charged.

Why is it suddenly everyone is talking about two tier policing and how it has antagonised the situation? I thought the causes were immigration and the Southport attack yet over the weekend this new narrative has taken over and seems to be every where?

This was over the weekend when several areas had issues.

It’s selective. There were gangs of people trying to burn down hotels and police barely intervened. A few seconds of some people standing around while a few cars speed by hardly an emergency. It’s meaningless. You could pick examples to prove either. It’s fucking dumb.

Just talking to someone who was working as a special constable in another area. They were the only person on duty at times for the area, everyone else on riot control working double shifts.

I don’t really know what point you’re trying to make. There’s been riots all weekend and the police weren’t able to prevent them.
