Football Fun Day at the Ricoh

    1) CCFC agreed to the value of rent and then did nothing for 5 years afterwards. 2) ACL agreed to reduce the figure to £400k, a drop of 67%, which is pretty generous. 3) CCFC sold rights to F&B as they couldn't afford stadium build, hardly ACL's fault. 4) CCC using public aid to help a...

Football Fun Day at the Ricoh

To have the right impact this event would need to be at the Ricoh as we are stating that is where we the fans want to be. Otherwise it is just a random event.

Indeed, most of the value will be in intangible assets that are only of use within the football club specifically called Coventry City and therefore if SISU want any return they need to sell as a going concern.

Another interesting article about the accounts

That isn't the football club because the audited statutory accounts you signed off in May 2012 say that the football club is Limited...... Other than that minor point.....

Why not? How do you know? It is possible to invest in an entity and actually want it to succeed for more than just the monetary reward.

Liquidation of a company invariable results in far lower proceeds than the sale of the company as a going concern. The ability to play in the league and the goodwill value of a football club are quite valuable as demonstrated by the interested parties at the moment.

At which point an interested party would put in a bid for the assets of the club as a shut down of the company by SISU would show availability for sale.

Sent him a remit of the campaign. Brings up a useful point regarding the use of word 'lies' re legal ramifications. So I am going to ask a serious question: Can we catalogue any statements by SISU or the Board that have been PROVEN to be a lie. I don't mean stuff like we will sign good...

    Question??

CCC secured their investment as a going concern with a change of capital investment. Absolutely nothing wrong with it and not a drain on public services as people keep bringing up. In fact would suggest in public interest to ensure prior investment not lost.

    London Demonstration Saturday 15th June

Really don't agree here. ACL have made all the concessions and continually state that CCFC are welcome to play at the Ricoh. Only Tim Fisher has stated otherwise and quite frankly his track record of truthful statements isn't exactly brilliant even when it is required at a corporate...

    London Demonstration Saturday 15th June

Hopefully should be able to make it. First free weekend in a long time. Would go straight from Bristol and meet you all there.

So where would we be better off

New owners would at the very least be able to negotiate a rent figure of £400k pa as this has effectively been set as MV by ACL in making the offer to SISU back in January. The £1.2m pa really needs to be forgotten about.

So where would we be better off

No we wouldn't. ACL don't own the Ricoh either, they lease the freehold.
