    ratings vs port vale

Re Rawson, I'm interested to know - was he more physical than both he and Turnbull have been previously (most of the season)? Ie. grappling more with the strikers, getting in front of them for challenges etc?

Match Thread MK Dons v Coventry Match Thread - Saturday 18th Mar

I hope we lose every game until we are officially relegated. Get it over and done with ASAP, and start next season's planning early. We might even see some better performances, with pressure off.

Match Thread The worst performance of the season

As soon as relegation is confirmed we should definitely sack off all the loanees. Robins will continue to play the likes of Reilly until it's official, he has to be seen as 'trying' to get us out of trouble. When it's official, the team selection will certainly be interesting!

Compilation of shocking CCFC stats 2016/17

Compilation of shocking CCFC stats 2016/17

Another good one: So far this season, 7 strikers (Thomas x2, Sordell, Agyei, Wright, Beavon, Tudgay) have managed 20 goals between them in the league - as many as Armstrong managed all last season.

It's actually George Thomas with 5 - Willis' goal v Swansea in the Checkatrade went down as an OG. Sorry to be that guy.

    Burge

I think the worse crime is the way Turnbull gets flung off the ball by their man. It's embarrassing to watch. The bloke is a complete non-footballer, body shape is constantly wrong when defending, has no balance, can't pass, has the same agility as the QE2 and can't jump for headers. He's a...

Would any of our players get into any other League 1 team

Same, plus probably DKE and Stokes. Might as well flog anyone with any value (Willis, Stevenson, Harries). Couldn't give a flying fuck about the rest.

Match Thread The worst performance of the season

To be fair to the guy he's been here a week and a half and has inherited a shockingly bad squad bereft of leaders to drag us out of the mire. We all knew we were down before he came in anyway

    Ivor Lawton

Yeah that's the one I'm on about, Ipswich at home on sky. Think he set up Dele to score

Of course Willis can play RB but he’s not exactly your modern day fullback, is he? Yes he’ll make us more solid and provide some covering pace for Clarke but going forward and getting crosses in, overlapping etc he is pretty poor. I’d rather see DKE play there tbh.

    So who's around next season...

Normally I'd say we'd need to strike a balance between clearing the deadwood and keeping the nucleus, though this season's been such a shitshow I'd get rid of the lot. Clear the decks and start over, this time signing the right calibre of players for League 2 instead of wasting time on shit...

    2012/13 reunion....

Wood and Adams would be good in League 2 - would take both of them back. Wood was on high wages with us IIRC though. Would also love Murphy back, however unlikely that is.

    Nobody still believes surely ?

Astonishing optimism, I really admire it. What you say is logical, and I'm sure it's what RS is saying to that rabble. At least I hope it is...
