    Kelly

Yeah good point. I meant more generally and trying to see MR's perspective on what he offers over Kelly I am a Kelly fan and would rather he be in the side right now than Lati,

    Kelly

The thing he does offer is mobility. Kelly is a much better option as a holding midfielder, but he looks like he's running through treacle half the time

    Fábio Tavares

Kelly should start this for sure. We will need him to play his part with Sheaf and now Allen’s injury. No way Lati should be starting ahead of him as a midfield sitter

Maybe no more saturday 3pm until 6th april

Same for me mate. Any evening kick offs are pretty much impossible to get to with work commitments. I’d have to drive and leave at 5pm absolute latest which wouldn’t even guarantee to get me there for KO with rush hour traffic

I thought Thomas and Kitching were both a little off today in possession, reckon partly down to the shocking pitch. Mostly defended well other than the farcical goal we conceded

This is the problem, he often fades towards the end of the first half in games and 2nd half he slows us down a lot when he’s on the ball. I like him as a player and for all the skill and ability to unlock defences he has, it’s painful that he can barely last 45 minutes

    Ayari

Be interesting to see where he plays for them He's clearly a CM but wasn't trusted by MR (rightfully so) to play in a 2 when we played 5 at the back Blackburn play a 4-2-3-1 like us, and Szmodics is usually their 10, so wonder if they'll trust him at CM

    Ex Player Watch

Jay McGrath has joined Doncaster from St. Pat’s in the League of Ireland on a 2.5 year deal Good example of a young player getting proper gametime in men’s football and using that as a springboard – albeit Doncaster are on a downward spiral currently

Simms performance in the 30 mins he was on was far worse than Godden’s.

He was knackered by the time he came off. He had a very good first half but faded quickly as he always does

Agreed, I thought we looked pretty out of ideas and were helped by 2 very good finishes Also agree on Lati, his passing range is pretty limited and his speed of thought is too slow to be progressive enough with the ball. He’s ok as a stand-in but he shouldn’t really be starting in the midfield 3.

O’Hare with the armband, I make that the 7th player to captain for at least part of a game this season (Kelly, Fadz, Godden, Sheaf, Allen, Bidwell)

Yes he had a very poor game. Take nothing away from Shai Hope though, his knock was a masterclass in playing the situation. He is a true modern great of the ODI game
