Odd from Dave he is still a bit of a hero of mine maybe he just had a bad day at the office.......regardless of any situation
Dave should have kept quiet till at least teams announced or game started....then I do not have problems with him tweeting whatever
he likes! I am now very suspicious...
I think Otis that is the likely scenario so "No Aaron today" is a little misleading as he will be there and could get on.
It is a very odd thing for Dave Phillips to do always a bit of a hero of mine - lost a bit of respect with this outburst.
I suppose he is just a frustrated dad wanting his...
Given that we are down to "bare bones" do you not think Phillips would at least be on the bench though?
Something must have happened inside the camp for him not to make the 18??? Could it just be Dave sulking he is not in start xi?
Also talk of being wafer thin and down to bare bones is also...
I'd be surprised if Phillips is not in the 18.......unless he is injured or something has happened inside the camp
Could be a compete load of bollocks of course and he starts right back not ruling that out either......is the Dave Phillips
account genuine ......seems a very odd thing to do??
Called it when he wasn't in the 18 for Southend.....once that happened I knew he was a goner.
Shame but he will be on decent wages so probably not a bad thing to get him off the books if
TM was not in reality going to use him much!
Me and TM think alike same first eleven and six of the seven subs identical.....he picked Conor Thomas ahead of Swanson
This surprised me but wonder now if Swanson is soon to be on his bike with window closing??? If not would have thought
he would make 18 ahead of Morris or Conor Thomas! Come...
Should be nowhere near first team at present - as other have said sub/start in JPT trophy probably the way to go.
In first team squad maybe on bench to be used when suitable. Our back 4 was settled and we have Phillips/Haynes and Martin
ahead of him in pecking order defensively I imagine. One...
So to conclude then no mistake and we are right to play the game and take sky money given limited impact the
international call ups have on the starting xi!
I think he gets a lot of unfair stick and is currently fine as a back up midfielder in squad.for injuries.
Like another poster I saw him have a fantastic game at Wolves away so he can do it.
I doubt he is on that much in terms of wages, if he is will probably be released at end of contract not...
Think we will win 2-0 and TM will stick with same 4-2-3-1 formation with as few changes as possible
Burge
Phillips Ricketts Johnson Stokes
Vincelot Fleck
JOB Lameiras Murphy
Armstrong
Subs: Cook, Martin, Haynes, Morris, G,Thomas, Tudguy, Swanson
By All Accounts Martin had a good game in his start at Rochdale?? I was not at that game but reports were
good so think he will prove an able back up in central defence if needed
We do not have a squad of 11 we have a squad at last count of about 25 including the loans - all of which are paid a good salary.
Willis being out is a blow but as pre-season discussions have stated we have Phillips as direct first cover and he will be chomping at the bit to get a first team...
I think the way Grendel is going about his argument is perhaps a bit wrong but as I have said on another post people
are going a bit OTT for someone who has not played that many games......It is a blow but also an opportunity for other
members of squad to step up....no one player is the...
Swanson is capable of filling that void and has more experience......Murphy came on for Madders and scored .....a change in formation with two up top could also
be considered with a 4-4-2 formation Tudguy has one in one when starting and an assist for Job when he played for Millwall.
FFS...
We need a positive result against Southend on Monday that is all - draw or win. If we draw it will be ten points from five games....which is automatic promotion form
if sustained.
Personally think we should have enough about us to be beat Southend at home who squad wise and resources wise have...
Peroni is bloody expensive everywhere.....not too sure why......it is not that good a beer ....after I was charged £6.95 for a pint
of it once in London vowed to never buy it again but still do now and again when I forget....it is expensive even in cheap bars!!
I would be tempted to agree with you Italia but I never do and cannot on this occasion.....particularly viewing the effect
it seemed to have on their caveman crowd....horses for courses think that song like the day was perfect! :p
