Hmm this is sounding familiar in terms of some response when we sold Bigi "on the cheap"!!
Look at him now......oh!!......plus we have him back for rest of season reckon he will be gunning to get
us up to the Championship before he goes - not a bad deal and short term we have not lost him yet...
My mate is a Palace season ticket holder and they all speak fondly of him over there! Have not seen it yet but a little too ealry to write him off in my book......however if Martin is fit he should have a rest that being said and drop to subs bench!
Never have left early and hopefully never will!! Remember once at Highfield Road I was near front row......we were losing 4-1 to Palace at Highfield Road.....Rob Newman had scored a 35 yard screamer.......a guy behind me shouted sit down I cannot see....
I think it was only virtually me and him...
I would go 4-4-2 but it would depend on players fit.
Burge
Lorentzon RB
Martin CB
Ricketts CB
Stokes LB
Joe Cole LM
Rose CM
Fleck CM
Maddison RM
Tudguy ST
Armstrong ST
Subs: RCC, Ramage, Haynes, JOB, Lameiras, Murphy, Fortune...
I agree Italia I fear the worst if do not make it this year.......however disagree regarding the owners TM has been well supported this
year with funds available......it is not all down to funds......we have spent a lot more than Walsall, Gills & Burton all of which are
doing a lot better than...
Mixed bag so far some loans that did not work out have been missed from lists above too.....Luke Williams/Bryn Morris.
A lot are fairly new so could turn things around though but at the moment better than recent past.....but that is not saying much!
Meagre funds what a load of crap!! As Grendel has said name many other league one squads which have as good an overall
squad/wages with signings and loans thrown in - Wigan/Sheff Utd maybe the rest no!
My expectations looking at division this year was minimum play offs - strengthened further with how TM reshaped the squad with
virtually a clean slate and the backing of sisu with transfers/backroom staff and loan deals.
Simply put if we do not make it this year we certainly will not next...
This is the weakest league one in some time and our best chance of promotion......if we do not make it this year really struggling to see us doing well next year the sides coming down will be a lot stronger than ones that did this year!
Simply put with the support TM has had and squad we have...
I actually would give Burge a go next game - RCC has done well but needs a rest/wake up call/reality check which I think will do
him the world of good - it shows no1 spot is still up for grabs between the two young keepers and keeps it competitive.
I know Tudguy was really badly clattered from Southend centre back last week who got away with it think they
saw Tudguy as only threat first half so they took him out....they were right! Also given our defence last few weeks unless we get someone in think if he copes in training he will be...
Where was Tudguy today....would like to see him play in a two up top with Armstong......I would actually change formation now!
Reverting to 4-4-2 next game and shaking things up as much as possible.
Burge GK
Lorentzon RB
Ricketts...
Teams a lot stronger than I expected with both Armstrong and Murphy back - Tudguy must be injured I presume?
Surprised Hunt starting in midfield but with him Maddison and Murphy balance looks better......I think in attacking midfield
three we can only include one out of Hunt.JOB & Cole if...
His clear defensive failings were certainly highlighted last night as was the proof that Keogh is decent
at Championship level but nowhere near good enough for Premier League!
