New Striker- Loan - Jack McBean

I'm not a Twitter user but while googling jack mcbean I seen this, it may shed some light on the quote of he's a development player.... I've no idea of the tweeter or its validity tho.

Plus the fact that RCC kept those clean sheets with the same defence Lee Burge had and looked far more composed, mistakes only started happening when the injury to Reda then Ben Turner left the back line all over the place opening him up to errors with Sam Ricketts playing all over the shop.

From the transfer rumour... Lol gabby Logan.

I'd be happy to see gabby Logan strutting around up front for us! [emoji106] Plus she has connections to the city.... It's a dead cert!

Lee Burge is up there with Fabian Debec! I'd even pick Scott Shearer ahead of him.

    U18/U21 Development Thread

Looking at the squad lists it really shows how thin the 1st team squad is. Some of the young lads in the 1st team may have to play a lot of football and u18's stepping up to u21's to play these games

He saved us more than he lost overall.

Yeah your right he may have saved more pens and RCC did make his share of mistakes last season. But right now out of the 2 RCC is way ahead in development and has further scope to improve. Has Lee Burge? My opinion is no.

Tho we came back to win this game another Lee Burge classic v peterbough. Marcus Maddison's free kick that really had him fooled. Not building a great a great portfolio himself is he?

Really... Was at full stretch and couldn't keep it out. Should we not be looking at why he was able to get the shot away.

RCC will save us more points than he will cost is this year.

    Mowbray's favouritism

Same thoughts, Reid is more beneficial cutting in from out wide not centrally. Tudgay is for me better at holding and playing in someone tho knows where the net is too.

Really.... RCC at fault already... Didn't take long for someone to jump on him.

    Mowbray's favouritism

No, I think sordell is the central player chosen ahead of him.

    Ricketts...."Captain"??

He may well be on his wish list but due to the changes to Southamptons management and premiership clubs not keen on releasing players on loan too soon it's too early to say he's not. I hope he is, as like you say he looked steady and composed.

    Mowbray's favouritism

As much as I'd of liked Tudgay to have been used yesterday we can only assume that TM wanted to keep with pace at the top end, tho I was not there I'm guessing Swindon allowed us to play and we found space tight in the second half, so TM went with the more technical player types. If by September...

Match Thread Coventry v Portsmouth Match Thread - Tuesday 9th Aug

Baker will score, if anyone's seen highlights from Portsmouths game yesterday he had a few shots from outside the box and was one of Portsmouths main threats. Keeper made a few good saves to restrict Portsmouth. I'm normally quite positive and optimistic but I don't see a win here. A tough few...

    Kwame Thomas

What's his positional style of play, could anyone see from today, or no? I no nothing about him only he's supposed to be quick. Is he a target man, off the shoulder, likes to run at defenders?
