    Buying Wembley Tickets online question

From the key to that diagram, it seems the only thing that’s “available” is the pitch. Maybe it’s going to be like the Wolves game in ’67?

    Buying Wembley Tickets online question

As far as I’m aware, Cat 3 and 4 pretty much disappeared in the feeding frenzy on Monday when approx. 3600 season ticket holders snapped up the whole of the lower & middle tiers. If I understand it correctly, they are releasing the upper tier block by block, and each block contains cats 5 & 6...

Just once in a while a post makes me LOL, thanks G it's been a long day!

88 I seriously hope you are right about it reaching general sale. No argument, I will be delighted because it would mean nobody who has attended this season will miss out. That's what we'd all like I'm sure, it just seems unlikely to me.

As Irish and others have said, that was a brilliant night in Liverpool. One of my top half dozen Sky Blue memories I think.

Yes, it’s a cup competition and we’ve fought our way to the final with some good performances. Got to milk it for all it’s worth and forget about the other stuff at least for the day. Someone on here once described winning the cup in 1987 as a fluke! Could not be further from the truth, that...

Er no, my exact words were "every year, any team that has a good season has a fair chance of getting to Wembley". And it's true. But you're right, the club doesn't need to find ways of rewarding loyalty. We're doing just fine with an ever-increasing fan base and an excellent system of...

I found a way to unlike your prevous post :) Surely you've been to plenty of games this season??* * Edit: I forgot, that doesn't count for anything. And they deflated your semi if I can put it that way.

Er, I didn't say that. I said that every year, any team that has a good season has a fair chance of getting to Wembley. We've even managed to do it despite having our customary shit season.

I agree, the new priorities aren't confusing. And nor were the original (different) ones.

Must admit I assumed it was irony at first, but then it seemed to get taken at face value. Falls into the hilarious wind-up category then?

You do know that we are just about the only team NOT to have been to Wembley in the last 30 years, and that every season there are realistic Wembley places up for grabs in all the Divisions? It doesn't take a fluke, just a good season. The fact we don't tend do those is irrelevant.

I know I’m on here trying to argue a case for regular fans who are in danger of losing out. But you can’t be serious that it includes you?

Let's ignore the fact that you've got those in the wrong order. You are saying that the good news for holders of semi-final tickets is that they are still in the third sale period. But unfortunately almost everyone else is now too! I just don't get how you can possibly argue that they haven't...

No, but as I understand it, anyone who can find a ticket stub from any game at the Ricoh this season, or who has bought even a single ticket online (including for the next match) can buy 6. You think we will get to "general sale"?

Oh God. Both the previous Checkatrade and the Semi were downgraded to the same level as any home ticket, including this Saturday's match! 8th March is effectively "General Sale" IMO.

There are large numbers of Wembley games these days - play offs etc. so every season there 's a fair chance of it, unless you support Coventry City of course:) And as i said, every club doesn't have to build a points system, they all use pretty much the same software so it would be...

Just as it was quite clear on the CCFC the day before that, but with a completely different set of priorities! So it was a confused shambles - FACT (always wanted to say that in caps on here).

No, anybody who hasn't been to a home game this season will be laughing about the switch of priorities. Because they can now simply register on the CCFC website and buy a single ticket for Swindon to suddenly appear in the system as a loyal fan. Better still for them, they don't even have to...

Sorry Nick, genuinely mystified by this. Nobody would say that - it's quite simple, tickets for the semi were sold on the basis of a promise that was later dropped. Like I say, it didn't affect me, so why am I going on about it? The reason is that on 8th March there's going to be an internet...
