Any new player coming in is a lift! As mentioned he has experience at England under 21, so that puts him slightly above our Youth side. To be fair a villa England under 21 reserve, is still better than the likes of Jeffries etc IMO. We have to get what we can. Can't understand people slating...

Reserves draw with MK Dons Coventry City Reserves drew 2-2 with MK Dons this afternoon in a behind closed doors game at Ryton. Billy Daniels equalised for City in the first half and in the second, Shaun Jeffers fired Lee Carsley's side ahead before the visitors equalised.

So your saying that, if we get bought out too late to save us from relegation, but have investment by someone who cares we still wont be in contention for promotion from Div 1!! Christ glad i don't sit next to you each season then....why bother supporting us at all?

Think i am beyond caring now. I just want us bought and then see where we are and start the re-build from there. Ideally would be nice to hang on to Championship status and have good crack next year, but if not, i will enjoy a promotion season the following year :D

They won 2-0, puts them 4 points clear of Reading (who lost 3-0) on the same +16 GD. Also 12 points clear of Spurs in 3rd place. If only we HAD a future it would be bright!! Maybe we should play at Beduff and the under 18's in the Ricoh!
