    To the "Slade out!!!" Brigade

Well look at the situation... MV inherited a side that was playing some good stuff at times, and had only lost a few but still unbeaten at home 10 games into the season. The early bounce is easy to find.... Fast forward another 12 league games after a mini revival and then crushing defeats at...

You are correct... if bits and maybes mean nothing. It's just how close we were to getting something. Next season is too early to call however at some point in this downward spiral where money is limited you need to look for stability and try to build a base of a squad.

    To the "Slade out!!!" Brigade

Some crazy posts on here yesterday... Which is generally why I wait till the next day when you've calmed down and collected my thoughts and reassessed. Firstly, name me a man who could of done anything different with the car crash side??? Some key points... We were well on our downward spiral...

5 games... he should of watched the Bristol rovers game. So I'd call it 4 games to judge him. Peterborough 2pts dropped Burge glued to his line... Bolton, 2pts dropped... whistlegate and a Thomas goal disallowed Chesterfield should of earned a point... Tudgay goal disallowed. Fleetwood point...

    SLADE OUT!!

Slade out..., seriously?? So the man can change a whole calendar year of doom and gloom can he in a month! Can he seriously make the players who've we've said are not up to it, too weak and not fit for league one heros in a few weeks with of training? Can he find the goals that we've missed...

Too early for that... his only just been here a month and putting all the previous wrongs right. Performances have been much improved, baring last week where if we'd of took some of our few chances we'd of taken that in a big game. Don't forget we were unlucky at Peterborough and the...

Out of interest how did you determine lameries is a finished article compared to JJ? Other than age there senior appearances are near identical? Just curious... no big argument.

I've no idea to be honest, but my line of thinking was pace and width down each flank, tight ball control and ability to run at players.... pin there full backs back. Amari bell should he play is a fast tricky player so needs occupying. George Thomas is a worker but not a right winger with pace...

I'd go with this to try and maximise our width and with pace too. ----------------Burge ---------------- ---Willis---Clarke--Rawson---Haynes-- --DKE----Rose ----Stevenson----Reid--- ---------Thomas----Beavon------------- RCC, Turnbull, Harries, Lameries, Reilly, Gadzhev ,Tudgay

I'm all for us trying him as a target man as this team desperately needs one as it will flourish if we did and certainly help our goal return... however I don't see Rose as a option. He's great to ping them in around the box but I've seen nothing in him in regards to being able to play the...

Slade the saviour? A 2016/17 analysis

This is the fist time for a while I've had ultimate faith in a manager who understands the level... had experience at that level and understands the demands required. Just a shame it's in sorry trying times with now very little time for error and a transfer window to put a season and calendar...

    JOB

Jim O'Brian..... the man seen as the vital piece of the jigsaw we lost last season by many... his career in the last 12 months tells you everything you need to no about him as a player and as a person. What ever happened to wanting to move closer to his family in Yorkshire, from Coventry to...

Match Thread Coventry v Fleetwood Match Thread - Saturday 21st Jan

On Saturday we was in desperate need for him to win some headers.... I can only recall him winning one from a cross/corner. Another case of a 6ft + player unable to use his size in this way. We desperately need a target man to do that role in my opinion
