Tend to agree. Very tough neighbourhood, or at least was. Strangely, some of the worst violence I’ve seen inside a ground has been on the London Road end - quite bizarrely, a preseason friendly v Lincoln particularly sticks in the mind, around 80/81.

Born in Cov but from 5 lived in Aston, nr Witney, early 70’s before moving back to the promised land in mid 80’s. Great era and area to grow up in as a kid. One week Highfield Rd, next week old Manor Ground - I’ve always been Sky Blue but lots of old mates from that way who are Oxford fans.

Taking 6 as a benchmark for a competent/expected level, and on the basis of the performance, the lack of energy, creativity and application to get even the basics right, these look about right ~ slight nit pick re Dovin and Bidwell, who I’d probably both rate a mark higher.
