Your first 4 names on the team sheet are? And...

Some good points there that maybe over the next few weeks we may get the answers to. But I think the choice of formation Robins opts for with these players will decide. I think he will stay 4141 for a few games or 442.

Your first 4 names on the team sheet are? And...

I'll answer one relevant question to now... Beavon is not a 10/15 goal a season man himself but he can create them goals for the right players around him like Kwame and George. His work rate a desire, defending from the front approach is rare in players these days. Reilly is really grafting in...

Your first 4 names on the team sheet are? And...

I think I a lot will depend on if he goes with 442 formation or a 4141, 4231 system. If he goes back to 442 Reid will be in, any other system only a 4231 could you kind of get him in. A 4141 you'd opt for Kwame Thomas in that position on the left instead of Reid with Beavon up top.

Ha ha ha, back in this mode are we! Nothing defensive here..... Don't spoil anther thread with your hatred for Slade, we know your stance, support the man here now and forget the rest.... And please, please don't question my knowledge about structure and tactics because of what Slade did in his...

Rose ruled out for the season

Yes, that's likely the last we've seen of him. It's a shame for him, no one like to see a players season ended from a big injury. I think you could get better for your money in league 2 tho than Andy Rose. He fits the bill perfectly of inconsistent!

Your first 4 names on the team sheet are? And...

Ha ha ha, have a day off!! Beavon I think you can work out why, Reilly too. Kwame Thomas for his hard work, pace, ability to be a ball carrier and eye for goal. Nathan Clarke because of the lack of experience in the defensive area. Most sides need a player like Clarke to head, block everything...

    So who's around next season...

To use Leicester as a example, Ranieri tried to switch Leicester from 4411/442 system to 4231 and various other systems and the players told him to ditch it as they could not get to grips with it in a few training sessions. Ranieri said it would need to be worked on in the summer to understand...

    So who's around next season...

That's part of the story of the season, lack of goals and creativity. Me personally for this week I'd stick with the 4141 as it's a little late in the season with little time between games for training to get to grips with a new system. Where a world away from the 2012/13 side

    So who's around next season...

Was a few loans too... Mark Robins signings 2012/13 Connor Henderson (now at Crawley) Jamie Reckord (now at Oldham) Frank Moussa (now at Walsall) James Bailey (now at Carlisle) Leon Clarke (now at sheff Utd) Blair Adams (now at Hamilton) Danny Philliskirk (now at Blackpool)

    So who's around next season...

Yeah he was here till February I think so had the January window and the loan window prior to the loan window too. He signed Leon Clarke in the January window

    So who's around next season...

Beavon has played the loan striker most his career at Burton I think. Kwame Thomas would be wasted as a lone man, you need his pace and ball carrying ability slightly deeper... in this current side anyway.

    So who's around next season...

For me there is very few in the current 1st team I'd want here in the starting 11 next season in league two, of our current 1st team I'd only have Stuart Beavon as a starter. Willis will likely leave and Turnbull I'd sell on to recycle into making a better squad. Harries and Stevenson will be...

    So who's around next season...

Yes I see it that way too. If I was selecting a team this week for a 4231 I'd say from what we have you could go this.. -------------RCC/Burge--------------- -DKE--Clarke--Turnbull/Willis--Haynes-- --------Bigirimana---Reilly--------- -GThomas-Vernam/Lameries-K Thomas- ----------------Beavon...

    So who's around next season...

This was a typical Robins team from that era... obviously different times and different players now but you could create a side from what we have in a 4231 with Beavon as the lone man.

    Exciting but 'mentally weak' players

Can largely be done on frees in the summer, 90% league one and two, and conference clubs operate very well this way. You just need to look at them and operate very efficiently to do your homework on each individual. Sure we will still need or use loans. We'd be silly not to consider better...

    Exciting but 'mentally weak' players

Not exactly a surprising assessment from Robins, there is a player in most of them but as we've seen in many games especially games where we've failed to hold out for the win. The ability is there, but collectively there weak. There is not enough players in the side that can drag the others...

    2012/13 reunion....

We need a player like Richard wood or Nathan Clarke. A player in that mould along side a more mobile ball playing defender of your playing 4 at the back. There's always talk of old players linking back up with managers would you take any back? I'm not a big fan of getting old players back for...
