    Tweaks for Port Vale

Don't think Murphy is lazy, he is out of form though which is why I'd leave him out for a bit

    Tweaks for Port Vale

Oh, right so he's a defensive midfielder then? ;-) Jwm. Not bad I could go with that, my problem with Jc and JM on the wings would be that neither of them are runners who only really contribute from front end of our half and forward, leaving our fullback exposed.

    Tweaks for Port Vale

Is Grant ex Crewe? If so he's a cracking defensive midfielder Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Tweaks for Port Vale

Haha, I meant out of form of course. It's only JOB who is currently out of foam.

    Tweaks for Port Vale

To get us through this rough patch I'd go for a solid 4-4-2 V Port Vale with wide midfielders Hunt and O'Brien to get crosses in and Tudgay dropping in behind Arma... Burge Stokes Ricketts Martin (if fit) Lorentzson Hunt Fleck Rose O Brien Tudgay Armstrong Madder and Murphy to...

    Ryan Kent: Part Eleventy Billion

We miss his directness, his energy and his ability to get us up the pitch from a defensive position. Yes it was annoying when he lost the ball and made the wrong decision but I think he was invaluable in relieving pressure and exerting it on the opposition. How much pressure did we put on...

Ridiculous thread. In each of these occasions, with the only exception being this season, the experience has been signed because of a slump in form. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Phillips

No I agree. He's been looking like he understands the match better the last few games (actually yesterday in the first half I thought the same). But that mistake was such a poor error of judgement in so many ways. (All of our defenders were doing this like this in the last few years). Look...

    Phillips

He just lacks a little bit of nous. Will be a cracking player for someone, perhaps us, perhaps not. Needs another fifty first team games for someone to improve his experience. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Rubén Lameiras

He made one terrible pass yesterday but he was the only one able to penetrate the burton defence and I think it was a mistake to take him off. Pace was never going to get behind Burton as they were so deep - should've taken Murphy off IMO Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Burton

Brilliantly organised but didn't threaten us going forward aside from our two calamities. I can't imagine they'll last the whole season without a blip Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Walsall Rumours

Sayers was impressive. Bradshaw was anonymous but took his goal well. Their other good player was Chambers who was a little shit. I thought Morsy looked very good for Chesterfield too. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Mcginnity passed away

Gave his all to turn the club around and his dedication to not allow usbto enter liquidation was admirable. IMO he made some bad decisions but his intentions were good. REST IN PEACE

Looks like Arma wide left to me (or right) a la Wigan

    Sonny Bradley Rumour (no evidence!!)

Looks like a cool finisher. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pQxrpFBMzPY Can't really make out any of his other attributes from this though. Although Didcot reckon he's pacy.

    Sonny Bradley Rumour (no evidence!!)

Not sure. Had a Google and couldn't see anything but if he's talking about someone who played for didcot...who else could it be?!? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Sonny Bradley Rumour (no evidence!!)

Also, not a rumour but has anyone seen the goalscoring record of John Mills over the last two seasons?!? 57 goals for Didcot last season 38 goals for Hereford so far this season Low level granted, but impressive nevertheless. Has anyone ever seen him play?

    Sonny Bradley Rumour (no evidence!!)

A Crawley friend said there was a rumour going round their game on Monday that we after their centre back Sonny Bradley. He says he was their best player last year - is a commanding centre back who is prone to occasional mistakes and is coming out of contract at the end of the season...

Best City XI of All-time (CM)

Boateng and Robson. McAllister was shit for a year, injured for eighteen months, had one good season and then ditched us. Nice one. John Fleck is as good a midfield player I've seen since we left the premier league. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Ryan Kent to (actually) be recalled

I think we'll miss him more than we think. His pace and skill often moves us up the pitch and turns defence into attack. Yes, he's frustrating, but like Murphy he can change the flow of the game in a matter of seconds. Also good at tracking back. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
