Totally agree, but under Tranmere's proposal there will be 2 promotion slots, and my point is that if the vote is really close, the Tranmere proposal might just swing it, even though it is rubbish.
My understanding is that Tranmere's proposal has made it onto the EFL voting paper next week. This is why I think it has a good chance of winning the vote.
Currently the following 8 teams have declared their desire to finish the season.
Oxford
Portsmouth
Peterborough
Fleetwood
Sunderland

Tranmere League 1 form team LOL
Last 6 games = 8th
Last 8 games = 14th
Last 10 games = 17th
Last 12 games = 20th
Last 4 & last 8 home games = 23rd (bottom)
Last 4 away games 2nd
Last 8 away games 10th
I see that F1 are considering a reverse grid proposal so the slowest cars start at the front, so they don't get the same results where consequtive races are to be held in the same country. Maybe this will give Tranmere the idea of just reversing the table, so Bolton and Southend would be...
Interestingly, I read that of the 17 cases not one was experiencing any symptoms at all. It may be that they all caught it very recently and symptoms have not developed yet, but it may also be part of the evidence needed to justify the claim that 4 out of every 5 cases are asymptomatic.
There are a number of reasons why the season can't continue, IMO. Not least because I don't think the EFL will want to be in a situation where 12 teams effectively bankrupt the other 11 (or whatever the numbers turn out to be, in the event of a vote for continuation). That's why we haven't had a...
Is the post about the fan base though, or about potential match attendance numbers?
I have met fans as far afield as the far east, who live there. 95% of Man. United supporters have never been to a game, apparently.
Actually our away form pre-Christmas makes no sense when compared to our form.since then. 7 wins and a draw in the last 8 away games. if we had won 3 or 4 of the away games pre-Christmas, the other league 1 teams would need a telescope to see us.
