    Notts County, Exeter,Luton.

You forgot to mention we have already beaten Notts County and Exeter. Current form would indicate the play-offs minimum, if we can get a bit of a run going then autos are a possibility. We are not inconsistent in defense, just need to be a tad more prolific at the other end.

We're walking this league: shots stats prove it

They are interesting stats and they show we are doing (mostly) the right things. They hint that we are making chances (although no definitively as a shot could be from anywhere!). It seems at the moment we are defending reasonably well, and making plenty of chances, we are not top probably...

    Dave Boddy - New CEO

What is going on with the sale of Ryton? Doesn't anyone think he may have been brought in to carry on where Mark Venus left off?

    Look at our rating!

That's quite funny. Ironic that Sutton are only 8 places below us. At least if they beat us again it won't be a headline giant killing result :woot:

    new season prediction

Top by Christmas Robins gets a better offer - has a blood transfusion to get rid of his sky blue blood then fooks off! mid table obscurity or relegation battle by the end of the season.

    Cov Dog

A bloke walks into the Squirrel with his dog, there is a live Cov game on the TV. He walks up to the bar and the Barman says "sorry sir, but there are no dogs allowed in this bar". Undeterred the man says "I'm sure you wont mind this dog - he does a trick every time he sees city doing something...

TBF Nick there was a similar article in CET when rumour of the initial offer was around and Hoffman denied to the telegraph that anything was happening

Robins leads us out at Wembley.

I agree with this. Scumbag is a bit strong, more like duplicitous twat. It wasn't the fact that he left us, it was the way he did it. There really wasn't any need for the skyblue blood statement, why couldn't he have been honest? Wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him. He has done...

    Takeover

My understanding is that the council still own the freehold, WASPS only own the leasehold. I that case WASPS would have no say in it at all, it would be down to the council.

    JR2

I am not sure whether they were offered the same terms, but I do remember Tim Fisher stating that they would not take on the £15 million loan that ACL had taken out as part of the deal, but WASPS did.

    Mowbray's got a new job..

It will be interesting to see how he does at Chesterfield. If he keeps them up then gets them into the playoffs next season can we safely blame SISU for all the woes we have here?

Can the Telegraph sink much lower?

I agree that Gilbert is a bit of a tosser, but I don't understand why you lot are moaning about the Slade article. Let's face it, the first run of bad results and you will all be queuing up to say how shit Slade is and how he should be sacked at the first opportunity.
