    Council funding for Ricoh Refurb

You probably would, but not the answer you want, we are talking local politics here. What you will get is an answer to the question they wanted you to ask them.

    Council funding for Ricoh Refurb

I haven't a clue - why don't you ask them. I was just pointing out the excuse they would probably use if they were pressed about why they are funding a privately owned stadium with public money.

The get-out clause I imagine is that the council still own the freehold?

How Much do you like Coventry City?

If I joined the cheerleaders and wore a micro mini-skirt I would get more than just the players attention, considering I'm a close fit to the description of Tony in number 9!

New Stadium - The pessimist's view...

Anyone giving you abuse would be talking nonsense. It is over 6 years since SISU announced ccfc needed their own stadium. It has taken that long to get to the point of talking about a collaboration. I fully expect this to go quiet for a long time, I am certainly not holding my breath.......

    Update from Big Dave

The point I am trying to make is that while the covid-19 situation is still around, there is really not much (economic) advantage in ccfc returning to the Ricoh, all the financial pressure is on WASPS who could do with our rent.

    Update from Big Dave

I agree with this. CCFC/SISU are in a much better bargaining position now though. If games are being played BCD (i.e. no fans at all) then there is little or no economic disadvantage in playing at St Andrews and CCFC/SISU can bide their time and drive a hard bargain. WASPS should be begging for...

    Ricoh Lease...

Sisu are certainly crafty sons of guns, not costing them anything and nothing to lose either way. Can't stand them, but you have got to hand it to them.

    Ricoh Lease...

Do you think the EC complaint will result in any action against the council?

Is it inevitable that Robins will leave us this season?

As long as he is getting reasonable financial support to bring players in he will stay. As said above if he gets a lucrative offer from a prem side that may turn his head. Otherwise we have him for a while yet I think.

    Ricoh - Gut Feeling

I personally think we would be back, I think the stadium is too small for either wasps or ccfc on their own. The change in situation now however is that with covid we will lose money whether back at the ricoh or not, so I think SISU will hold out (unfortunately for the fans that want us back in...

    Ricoh - Gut Feeling

To make it just a little clearer, do you think we would be back at the Ricoh if SISU had not complained to the European Commission?
