Wasps bid for Ricoh Arena valued at £30million

We and the CT seem to know NOTHING about the clubs position in this yet. Until we do its almost impossible to make a call on this as CCFC supporters, no? I'm just hoping that there will be some long, long overdue good news for us at the end of this :s

Council could vote on Ricoh takeover as early as Tuesday

Exactly. Maybe the media silence from sisu should be a comforting sign. However, with the long term future of the club at stake it's also very unsettling. I just want ccfc having a permanent home at the Ricoh. I don't care if it's under sisu. I will selfishly back any group that can make...

Council could vote on Ricoh takeover as early as Tuesday

Whilst the landlord still wants us. Also it will hardly be a ccfc ground. Can't see a Jimmy hill statue outside a wasps ground really.... The Ricoh could be a magnicent home of ccfc if we owned it.

Council could vote on Ricoh takeover as early as Tuesday

Behind the scenes there must be some action from SISU. Will they play a dangerous game of wait to see if the bid is opposed? The asking price is probably at peak right now. However if wasps were rebuffed..... As a supporter I clearly hope not. I just want all this nonsense to go away and feel...

SCG/ Garlick Stadium group to merge?

Where did you hear that? Does have some ramifications if, as I have understood you, ideas about new ground could now be applied to Ricoh....

Cyrus Christie - I need to know.

Got all the attributes to make a very good player. Probably had too much too quick thrust on him at CCFC, due to lack of depth. Good luck to him.

What do the club do if keep losing

352 always strikes me as a formation that requires very very good players. We massively miss reda though.

We must go back to 4-4-2

Don't think we have the midfielders to play a basic 442. Balls.

We must go back to 4-4-2

Not seen Swanson play yet. Is he left footed?

Wasps takeover bid could be agreed in private

Can someone remind me, as far as we know is the wasps owner heading the consortium or just one of the party? Is it possible that the mere fact he is known to be involved leading to the 'Wasps takeover' headlines? Could he be part of a ccfc takeover with the added interest of getting some...

Wasps takeover bid could be agreed in private

Could they though? If this deal goes through with CCFC still being tenants then that's a very precarious position for our club to be in....

    So who owns WASPS?

I can already see the Hoff polishing up his pound.

Do SISU actually have the money to compete in bidding for the Ricoh???

Wasps takeover bid could be agreed in private

I believe so, in as many words, which is why they cannot remain silent over these reports. Either 1. They are in talks or 2. They have no interest in ever parting with money to secure our long term future (I include new ground in that). 2 year plan to get promoted then ditch us?

Wasps takeover bid could be agreed in private

Agreed. Maybe SISU could save everyone's grief by putting in a respectable offer. I still maintain this is in the best interests of and, despite all the hostility, when push come to shove would be the preferred bid for CCC. Its clearly for sale SISU for crying out loud!!

"Let’s be clear, we absolutely want the football club to stay at the Ricoh"

When? I'm starting to lose sleep now. Great idea about the team photo by the cathedral btw. The dean can't get enough of the mighty sky blues! (possible take over bid?)

"Let’s be clear, we absolutely want the football club to stay at the Ricoh"

I had the same thought process today. I think all parties went silent prior to the rent agreement. Then again, I'm probably just trying to find positives..... I do still believe that the CCC would prioritise any potential ccfc deal over a wasps deal.

Is this the same as 'proof of fund's stage? If so, is anything likely to be binding or rather a 'gentlemen's' agreement Rob? Great but rather depressing info..
