Sheaf is one of the players where when he plays well the team plays well.
Thought the 2nd half at Hull was the best he's been since coming back (not a high bar i appreciate) but he will be a big player for us again this season, as he always has been
the refs could stop it, but we have the worst standard of refereeing for years, so cant rely on them to do anything about it.
All the Hull coaches should be booked for leaving technical area or sent off if they enter the pitch.
Players that leave the pitch should have to wait to be told they...
same team, if they turn up and put in a similar performance it should be the same result
personally would have Simms and Dovin in but dont think either will be changed and always one for sticking with a winning team!
Bassettes confidence has done nothing to help him score goals though - a low confidence Simms has 3 and a highly confident Bassette has 1.
Simms is our best striker whilst Wright is out and should start
Robins had 14 games and got us to 17th
In the 6 games since, with 2 managers we've played 4 of the top 6 (3 away from home) and we've climbed a place.
I'm not judging anything till the new year but in hindsight its clear Robins was struggling and a change was needed
the club have let him release a statement saying it was his decision and now is the right time "blah blah blah"
Wouldnt normally be the case on an actual sacking i dont think
Something has happened behind closed doors
Also seems odd he's staying for 2 more games!
Defensive reshuffle for me - picking the same isnt working at all - cant be 2 goals a game
Dovin
Lats - Thomas - Kitching - Bidwell
Sheaf - Eccles - Rudoni
Saka - Bassette - EMC
Yes i know Milan is better than Lats (and it wont happen) but thats my pick!
2.1 sneak a win
thankfully i dont think its a lack of ability - i think its a lack of confidence and some tactical work, both of which can be sorted.
Ive got no doubt we'll start to move upwards, if we can fix that defence it will happen quickly
Hull are too much of a circus for them to go for a sensible pick like Robins
unpopular opinion - i dont think Robins has many offers in the short term unless its from L1, see what manager merry go round happens in the new year i suppose
we've had a lot going on so he's front and centre on everyone's mind i suppose - as long as the performances pick up, he'll be back to a fan in the stands till the Jan window i imagine (y)
fair - its not about "backing" King but digging him out for every decision is a bit odd (not aimed at you)
There's no way the owner of a football club can "slink back into the background", soon everyone will be asking him what budget we have for January, or whether he's willing to get loans in...
wouldnt be CCFC without arguing over different opinions
Finding it hilarious at the people digging negatives out of every single thing that is being done though now, even down to which staff are in a photo
they'll all say "i want him to prove me wrong" or "i will back him anyway" BUT they...
hard to disagree with much of this... we really need to cement our GK slot though, changing helps nobody, will be interesting to see who the new coaches favourite is out of the 3
