    Coventry transfer deadline day

He had his share of injuries last January February time, not so sure he's had many injuries this season to keep him out much. Bayliss came in and took Stevenson's place in the side. Stevenson came on at half time v Crawley. Started the next game at Morecambe and then dropped to the bench in...

Match Thread Coventry City at Forest Green Rovers Match Thread - Saturday 3rd Feb

Shall we go a 0-1. Likely a tight game this that I'm not confident of the win. What a feeling it would be to win the game and take another 3 points. Shift in confidence and momentum will be huge. Could we finally hit a good run home and away.

    Coventry transfer deadline day

Now I was thinking the same, but that's too low for a player with a long contract and should we go up he'd be at a level he's better performer at. Has to be 500k minimum for me with add ons but then I feel that's not enough.

Has he been unlucky? Not really taken his chances when he appeared in the 1st team. It's not his level for a player of his ability for sure, but Bayliss coming in and grabbing his chance has likely stung him somewhat.

    Manager of the Month

Harry Kewell is my shout but MR has to be within a very good chance.

I agree on both points. Penalty would of been given another day, thankfully today it wasn't. Clumsy coming together that's hard to call. But it's just a no for me. McNulty beat his man fair and square in a equal tussle. Wrong call for that.

    Coventry transfer deadline day

500k with add ons was my initial thought, but that's poor when you think we was reportedly knocking back 1.5m offers last year which he's nowhere near currently. A lot of ability, bright future ahead of him but not in the form he's shown 12 months ago, well down the order here now but he's so...

    Coventry transfer deadline day

Think that deserves a thread of debate it's self! I'd imagine the range would be anything from 500k with add ons to 1.5M in some peoples eyes

    Micheal Doyle - Captain fantastic

I do agree with what league were in is pivotal to how much involvement he could have in a side. L2 he'd still do a job but may need more recovery time so Saturday to Saturday, only MR and he would know the impact games every 3/4 days is having in him now. In L1 I'm not so sure he'd cut it...

Anyone fearing a realistic bid for McNulty?

Your right not a chance, not today now. Only Stevenson and fringe players could leave or be loaned today. Minimal business

Finally coming good. Clearly a confidence player. I like him!! It's made easier now that he's scoring freely too!

In the right side with the right strike partner he'd be a very good option to have. I hope he gets forgotten about and stays at the RIcoh... tho with the way Max Biamou is playing currently it be unfair. Possibly a L2 striker tho at best, may not have things his own way in L1 but not bad...

Wigan / Wolves interested in Ben Stevenson

If that's true that's embarrassing quite frankly. If he does move which looks likely then I wish him well. A fresh start is what he needs, I'd imagine the emergence of Tom Bayliss ahead of him must sting somewhat

Ikpeazu was a right bloody handful!! Tired legs out there tonight, invited our own troubles at times and made harder work of the win than necessary but come full time the 3 points were ours. Promotion push gains momentum.

    Micheal Doyle - Captain fantastic

He wasn't let go by Pompey in the summer, Portsmouth manager at the time Paul Cooke wanted to keep him an offer a new deal. Because of the talk of a take over a contract was slow in coming to the table, MR and TW approached him, offered terms and he signed. Didn't want to wait all summer to...

    Player Ratings vs Cambridge

Burge 6.5 - thankfully he can save, kicking atrocious tonight and nearly gifted chances. Did what was required when it mattered tho, much improved at coming for crosses too which is pleasing to see. Grimmer 7 - a Typical Grimmer display. Vocal and reliable. Davies 8 - class, nothing gets...
