    Midweek games affecting L2 clubs

Marc Richards scored his 4th for Swindon in 5 games. Scores for fun at this level

Match Thread Coventry City vs Accrington Stanley Match Thread - Saturday 10th Feb

I thought similar but with only 3 fit central defenders I doubt we'd play them all, stick with 4 at the back and draft DiKE in and Haynes if necessary. I can see JCH starting this game too with McNulty

    The lack of consistency

We can only speculate as to who may go if anyone.... McNulty might be happy to stay and help with a second attempt at promotion if MR is still the gaffer. JJ won't likely go anywhere as he's just had a serious knee injury so any suitors will wanna see there's no after effects when he's back fit...

    Motor Vehicle for Robins

I personally forgive MR and hold nothing against a young manager stepping up a level to manage Huddersfield and walking away from CCFC after lack of assurances from his employers and taking a stable job. Let's not forget weeks later after he left the club is given a 10 point deduction and...

    Motor Vehicle for Robins

Totally agree, January as a club we could not sensibly do much more. Targets were identified in strikers and eliminated as the days ticked by. I do find it funny tho how some are mocking a 25k bid for 32 year old Tom Pope who still would of commanded a huge wage on top of a cash offer. This...

    The lack of consistency

Plenty of football to be played, and all teams hit the wall at some point at the season. Hopefully we carry on stumbling and miss the wall... If not I'm more confident about a promotion next year heading into L1 with a stronger squad with "our own" better for another season in L2.

    The lack of consistency

I can actually see Accrington coming and getting the win here Saturday. Accrington are a good hard working side and fully worth there position in the league. Saturday night could be interesting.

    The lack of consistency

It must just be me who's relatively happy with how the season is panning out and on par with my initial estimations of just taking 6th or 7th spot. It's a though league to crack at the first attempt. There are stronger sides in this league than us especially taking into account the way...

    The lack of consistency

Interestingly 9 of the 10 were in the match day squad. 6 of the 10 new signings were in the starting 11 and 2 came on as subs, 1 a unused sub. Fair to say there a much changed squad.

    Stokes & Grimmers Injuries

I don't think Dion has had a loan spell with anyone, it's Devon who joined Nuneaton last February

I wonder why Addai has been recalled? Loan not working or Burge or O'Brien injured now too

    Tom Bayliss

I think I it's safe to assume we've likely offered a deal to him already

Match Thread Coventry City at Forest Green Rovers Match Thread - Saturday 3rd Feb

Me and my son are exactly the same, there's been times this season that's taken him back in what he's heard. It's embarrassing at times. It's making me think twice about Mansfield for sure, it's all the ingredients to be very toxic that day. Unfortunately it's shouldn't be this way but it is...

    Motor Vehicle for Robins

Unfortunately it's L2 and abject performances are the level we're at. Our away form is on par with Exeter who would class themselves as promotion hopefuls and experienced in what's required to get out of this league with a manager who's well equipped and experienced in this league after play...

    Motor Vehicle for Robins

A huge over reaction to this latest defeat which is consistent to the away form all season. Too much is being made of Forest Greens position in the league which is now false given the squad they have since the window opened. Yes there a village side but a wealthy one at that. The village club...

Davies also out for the season

DiKE for me at right back if Grimmers done. Willis is far better centrally, looked lost at times when filling in for Grimmer previously.

Match Thread Coventry City at Forest Green Rovers Match Thread - Saturday 3rd Feb

Having been lucky enough to miss yesterday's game I can understand the initial anger and raw feeling to this defeat shown on this thread. To travel, be rained on and watch a dire performance off the back of a good run is hard to take to a wealthily village side in a humble set up in the sticks...

    Ex Player Watch

Simeon Jackson scored on his Grimsby debut for Grimsby, as did Ben Stevenson in his substitute appearance for Colchester. Reece Charles-Cook had the ball in his hands in the 93rd minute from a corner but some how Micheal Botswich put the ball in the net to claim a 2-2 draw for Lincoln. Shaun...
